I would steer clear of public events like parties for awhile. I would also reevaluate previously trusted relationships to check for gaps in loyalty. I.E., Don't trust unless you have a reason to trust. I used to trust people I knew for only a short time, because I didn't think people who were nice to me could suddenly be shitty and underhanded. But you learn. I'd take a step back and think about the histories you have with folks. But that's just my opinion. I haven't had any similar experiences dealing with hanky panky at parties where I danced around or anything. I'm a sad, emotional drunk not a flirty one. And I don't party with strangers. Knowing the folks at a party make it impossible for me to do anything with them. I goof around, but I can't imagine going any farther than that. ( I'm a prude though.)
