platnium plaques look wack to me,i dunno bout yal,i like the goldish style better,eventho the platnium represents the higher status but damn,iono just my thoughts

Makes the D Game seem inviting when u a artist....but on the real them scans I belive are real....niggaz got ipods, a homie who bootleg CDs plus his own CPU to download fav songs.....its definitly denting sells....this the heartbreaker though..only 2 rappers in 06 went platinum....and one arguably is not rap....TI and Gnarls Barkley (however u spell it) Still very possible to move em just gotta be more creative

It used to be, until a couple of years ago...I forgot exactly who's release it was, but the record company found a "loophole" where they could say they SOLD the units to all the stores that carry it, therefore it "sold" platinum.

Nowadays, platinum just means you have 1million+ copies of the album out there sold or in stores...

Chamillionaire did go too platinum too in 06.....(my bad)wonder why they didnt include him....I think Mike Jones dropped in 05...mabey thats why hes not on the list....its a shame though that hardly know one went plat though.....40 not gold?? I know his old album barley got a plaq but the promos was great on this last one.
