What direction do you think we are heading? Are we keeping both?

If I had to pick one or the other it would be Hue Jackson. Based on the direction the offense is going in, we can't afford to lose the biggest part of that just yet. Cable is a good coach, but will any other teams be lining up to bring him in to guide their franchise? Hue will get offers for other OC positions, but I don't think he has shown enough just yet to warrant a HC position when there are plenty of proven coaches still out there. The Niners are cheaply satisfying the Rooney rule, but at the same time, get the opportunity to pick apart the mind of Hue Jackson. You still never know though.

If Lombardi and Harbaugh were a tandem in Oakland, I wouldn't say no to that either. I think some interesting things may unfold these next couple of weeks....

honestly I think we will be able to keep everything intact.. Cable @ HC and Jackson @ OC.. but if it comes down to one or tha other.. I feel that Hue is more knowledgeable and tha Xs and Os type of guy compared to Tom Cable so you'd have to go with him.. but IMO everyone will stay put... but you never know w/ Al Davis

i think keeping both but wheres the poll
I rather keep things the same too. How do I add a poll?
Niners trynna Interview Hue.....
I think it may be just to satisfy the Rooney rule, atleast I hope.

I'm not up on the coach shit, but is Cowher or even Gruden out of the question?
I think if we make a change, it will be Hue Jackson. I can't see us flipping it upside down again, the old man better not....

Tom Cable ousted as Raiders' head coach

The Raiders have informed Tom Cable that they will not pick up his $2.5 million option to return as head coach in 2011.
Owner Al Davis had another two weeks to decide Cable's fate, but the 49ers' scheduled interview with OC Hue Jackson likely expedited the action. Davis is high on Jackson, who led the offense's dramatic improvement from 4,258 yards in 2009 to 5,674 yards in 2010. Jackson is more than qualified for the head coaching position, but it's hard not to feel for Cable. He transformed the Raiders from doormat to wild card contender. Jan. 4 - 9:48 pm et

I don't like the move, but who knows... maybe it's the right move...

I'm OK with Cable or Hue coaching the team next year... although I would have preferred Cable... fuck it...
