Since last Thursday's dreadful news we have seen, throughout Vallejo and around the world, an overwhelming expression of sadness at Killa Keise's death. We have all been trying in our different ways to cope. It is not easy to express a sense of loss, since the initial shock is often succeeded by a mixture of other feelings: disbelief, incomprehension, anger -- and concern for those who remain. We have all felt those emotions in these last few days. So what I say to you now, Skizzy Ske, as a fellow siccness poster and fellow human being, I say from my heart.

First, I want to pay tribute to Killa Keise myself. He was an exceptional and gifted human being. In good times and bad, he never lost his capacity to smile and laugh, nor to inspire others with his warmth and kindness. I admired and respected him -- for his energy and commitment to others, and especially for his devotion to the game. This week in Vallejo, we have all been trying to help come to terms with this devastating loss, and we have all suffered.

No one who knew Keise will ever forget him. Hundreds of others have never met him, but felt they knew him, will remember him. I for one believe that there are lessons to be drawn from his life and from the extraordinary and moving reaction to his death. I share in your determination to cherish his memory, Skizzy Ske. This is also an opportunity for me, on behalf of siccness, to thank all of you who have brought flowers, sent messages, and paid your respects in so many ways to a remarkable person. These acts of kindness have been a huge source of help and comfort and a humbling lesson in human compassion. My thoughts are also with Killa's family. I know that they too have drawn strength from what has happened since last week, as they seek to heal their sorrow and then to face the future without a loved one.

I hope that tomorrow we can all, wherever we are, join in expressing our grief at Killa Keise's loss, and gratitude for his all-too-short life. It is a chance to show to the whole world the siccness nation is united in grief and respect.

but its alright for siccness to make jokes about amy whinehouse, michael jackson, fat tone and others when they died. this site is bias for real. imo anyone that dies deserves equal recognition no matter who they are.

RIP Kiese. As a fan of Cellskis stuff naturally I got into Killa Ks music and picked up all the stuff they recorded together. This sucks, I was just playing "It's Killa Kiese" around Halloween time too.

Many don't know but he is blood cousins with Ya Boy and I also believe San Quinn. YB must be taking it hard just as Cellski is.
