This is one of my favorite movies of all time too, its sick in so many ways...a really classic cast. as for the briefcase, Tarantino has been quoted as saying that he had no intention of there actually being anything in the case, although people have made up theories that it was the diamonds from Reservoir Dogs.

Im sure it was just something shiny Quarintino put in there to make people say " what the fuck was in that bag?", i personally think nobody will ever know which makes it that much more valuable.

 The soul idea is one thing, but it's not Bruce Willis' Soul, it's supposed to be Ving Rhames' (Marcellus Wallace's) soul. They say because of the band-aid that he had on the back of his neck. They say the REAL reason for the band-aid was that a production assistant put it on there to cover up a scar that Ving really has on his neck.

Others think it is gold. Could it be Elvis' gold suit, seen worn by Val Kilmer (as Elvis) in True Romance (1993)? Heroin, etc. Or could it be simply a 20-watt light bulb!?

Really though, it's better that you don't know, that's the whole fucking point. That's why Tarantino did it and that's why he says he never had a plan for it to be anything. He says "It's whatever the viewer wants it to be."

There won't be a sequel as long as it's up to Tarantino. And there shouldn't be. If the studio owns it, give it some years and then they'll fuck it up by making some cheese fest sequel or prequel just like how they fuck up just about every other good movie.

The Vega brothers movie is the best shot at a prequel, but the odds of that movie getting made are slim. Especially cuz Tarantino said recently that he wants his movie to be a smaller Kung Fu movie shot totally in Mandarin.

Its a "MacGuffin." A term Hitchcock made up for an non-specific item whose only task is to drive the plot of a film. I like the Reservior Dogs diamonds theroy, just because its the most feesable, and I like the fact that two of my favorite movies are connected thrugh a MacGuffin.

I read an interview that Madsen did right after Kill Bill vol.2 came out where he said that they werent sure that they were gonna make Vega Bros because they couldnt make it a prequel seeing on how Travolta and Madsen are both a lot older now. But he also said that QT was gonna can the whole idea, but he went to Mexico and when he came back he had figured out a way for them to make it a prequel with both Madsen and Travolta in it, of course Madsen wouldnt say how they were going to do it. I really hope they do it, the premise for it is that The Vega Bros owned a club in Amsterdam before Vic went to jail

Does anyone know if Inglorious Bastards is still going to be Taratinos next movie? Thats gonna be crazy if he still wants to do it

actually that is probably the best answer. i was rumerd to be marcellus wallaces soul an the two charecters, (jackson an travolta) were hired to get it back from the devil because MW sold it to him for some reason (i forgot an it may be mentioned in the movie). the band aid on the back of the neck was supposed to signify a "cut" in the back of his head/neck, which in ancient time i believe was a way that the devil removed your soul.

theres a few theorys on how some of them are related, a lot of em dont really work out though. Heres a couple I can think of

the briefcase in PF being filled with the diamonds from RD

Jules (Samuel L Jackson) retires after his spritual awakening in PF to later become the organ player in Kill Bill

The Elvis suit that Val Kilmer wore in True Romance could have been in the briefcase in PF

I cant really remember, so I could be wrong, but I think Sean Penns PO from Reservoir Dogs was a cop in either Natural Born Killers or True Romance

My Favorite one is great, but it doesnt work, but if it did it woulda been awesome. Its that the samurai sword that Bruce Willis used in PF to kill Zed and the other guy was the Hatori Hanzo that Bud said he pawned in Kill Bill. But Bud didnt end up pawning the sword so that killed it

Check out the deleted scene from Kill Bill that they include on the DVD.

Another theory is that Jules is the master of dude that challenges Bill. The master of the guy that says "bill you killed my master". So bill would have killed jules.
