You gotta check the history before you speak like you know. First of all, Preme and his crew went down almost a decade before "Ghetto Qu'ran" came out. Everybody 50 named in that song was either already in jail or dead. It's no different if someone was to make a song implicating OJ for trying to steal his football cards back, or Jesse James for robbing a train, it's already a done deal. All the info was already well known and handled.
No sir, you need to do YOUR homework before YOU speak. I pay attention to news, and I have people FROM Queens that have told me what went down out there. Preme went down in 1987, got out in 1994/1995, violated a few times, got back out in 1997. From what I understand, 50 Cent said a little too much on "Ghetto Qu'ran" and he got shot for it. It wasn't until 2007 that Preme got his life sentence.
When Preme went down in 1987, he got minor drug and weapons charges because his lawyer convinced the judge that the warrant wasn't executed properly. His team was still handling business while he was locked down, and Prince was the one runnin' shit. That's the facts. "Preme was the businessman, Prince was the killa"...that was shit the Supreme Team hadn't been accused of at the time...and 50 put it on a record.
Quite a few years before Preme caught his last case, my man moved out here from Queens. We got to talkin' about 50 Cent and he filled me in on a lot of the street shit goin' on out there at the time. I remember he said, "Just watch, Supreme is going down soon because of 50". Sure as fuck, he went down a couple years later.
Now, 50 did not snitch about the stabbing, I do give him that. In that particular precinct, restraining orders were mandatory for victims of violent crimes. For the rest, though, 50 should have kept his mouth shut. He aired a lot of cats out on that song and in other forums.
