lol ... 2005 ... just in case you aren't aware, it's 2006 ... damn near 2007. a lot can change in a few months, so imagine what can change in a year. As far as his demographic changing, its more than obvious who his songs are appeasing, and its not the people in the greater bay area. I'm sure I'm not the only one who saw the L mistah fab caught @ Loft11 (San Francisco - for all the bay area outsiders on the board) when his latest single came on, and uhh ... I do recall that being a Wild 94.9 Party. Had that have been in Sunnyvale, Santa Rosa, Petaluma ... at an 18 and over club, as opposed to a 21 and club, they would have been A LOT more excited. Hence, the statement I made towards his demographic changing. He's obviously waaay more appealing to an uhh ... hmm ... lets say more "diverse" crowd. Not that there's anything WRONG with that, but fact of the matter is ... Fab's music fits the Wild 94.9 Market better than it does the KMEL market because Wild 94.9 caters to the previous Regaeton Listeners, the occasional Kelly Clarkson Listeners, the Baby Bashers, and those are the people looking forward to that next fab single ... and I dont understand the problem with that? O, and uhh ... as far as radio politics go, and whose related to who ... lol, i think yall might wanna let that whole concept go. O, and please stop thinking people are hating ... cause hate on fab is what I'M NOT DOING. What reasonin' do I have to hate on fab? I'm 20, making accomplishments far beyond a majority of my peers, I have no reason to hate on ANYBODY so What reasonin do I have to get online and be negative towards anything for that matter ... lol. I'm simply stating my opinion while trying to understand ... whats all the fuss about?

all i have to say is kmel and 94.9 are not your only means of getting radio ply, their are tons of other major radio stations across the states, not to mention college radio, especially in the south

venture out and expand, you are not only limited to the bay.for a full list of the major and semi major radion station contact list with full detail on who is the program directors and music directors for the various radio stations, then i suggest you visit http://www.musicpowers.com and check out the book

^You always have some loser from the suburbs who swears that they know everything. This dude contradicts himself so much it's not even funny. You're sitting up here acting like you've been in the industry for years, saying shit like "I was there when FAB had waves", and "I was there when Von gave him exposure from the freestyle battles", that just doesn't hold any weight, especially when in your next post you state that you're only 20 years old! You young ass nigga, nigga you grew up on FAB! Haha! Sittin here really acting like you know politics. Saying that his demographic changed to Kelly Clarkson and Baby Bash listeners, I highly disagree, you must not be from Oakland, you live in the burbs so you don't see the love he gets in the streets coz you a industry/internet nigga. And either way, last time I checked, Kelly Clarkson sells more units than everyone in the Bay combined, so if her fans are checking for FAB why is that a bad thing? See how much sense you make?

P.S, stop putting all of this energy into hating on people, it doesn't make you look good at all.

The Bay Mentality = Crabs in a bucket. Everyone always got something negative to say when someone is shining. We hate hard in the bay don't we, DAMN!!! I would complain about how we always tearing each other down before anyone ever reaches true success, but why bother? The hating don't stop, niggas just need to keep it moving I guess!

Fab is going to shine and do his thing, one radio station won't stop him. Big Von is going to do whatever the fuck he's going to do, he read the siccness and obviously he don't care what people are saying.

But I guess if anyone expects to shine in the bay, expect people to hate hard. Niggas go hard, well they hate hard too. LMAO. It's a damn shame, really.

So you're not gonna let us know DJ Mark or Eric_Junior. I guess Nobody wants to answer my questions. Everybody knows I'm biased on this subject so no need for me to talk about it. So I just want to know who else is biased, but I guess we will just have to assume some people are.

thizz, I have NO biased towards ANYONE here...

The last thread that was deleted was because Davey D was just recycling what was already said on here!!! I'm not tryin to cover up anything bruh....I dig Fab's stuff and will continue to put him and other Thizz artists in the mixes I do.

Don't get it twisted homie...I hafta play neutral as much as possible since I'm a mod here....NO ONE from KMEL has ever asked me to delete a thread. The original that Gary posted was NOT deleted by me either...I think the fact is that I'm the most visible mod on here gets me heat from time to time but it comes with the territory...Truth be told, I just actually checked the last couple pages of this thread this morning and I'm responding to u now. Real talk.

Any mix or work I ever do, I never have a problem with ANYONE whether it be Sly or whoever playin them....Matter of fact I appreciate the hell out of it cause I do them for Bay rap fans...I think sometimes people see a hidden agenda that really is NOT there....

pe@ce,
Mark

hahah...

naw... from your comment, i sensed a bit of hate towards davey d (i read it as you saying davey d says a lot of bullshit remarks). and me, knowing davey d is more on the "political street soldier with the first raised up in the sky" tip, i've read people's criticisms about davey as some liberal propaganda.

The problem is that there are politics on boath sides of the fence. This can't just be a one way issue. Until somebody by the name of Big Von or Mista FAB, better yet the two of them get on here we will never REALLY know the truth. Thizz said it himself he obviously has a bias...and that is understandable. Most of the info is coming from posters who are either anti radio or couldn't get the chance they thought they erned on radio in the Bay. I just hope that FAB and Big Von don't boath loose out because in the end neither one of them is bigger than Clear Channel and I'm sure they don't feel like dealing with a bunch of regional bullshit putting the spotlight on them.

everyone keeps going back and forth speaking on "bahalf" of other people in the bay. i KNOW fab. i KNOW von. both of them are grown ass adults. both of them have NO problem speaking their mind and setting the truth straight. unless someone hears something from the two of them, all this shit is high school bathroom rumors...... its not like if they had a REAL issue they couldnt find each other. KMEL and 94.9 are in the same building, so i'm sure they could find one another if there was an issue that needed to be straightened out. von has been doing his thing for years in the bay and putting in work to help the bay. i was around when he was chuy gomez's opening dj at j loves's in alameda..... also, fab has put in work himself... i knew him when he was rappin ass stanley who used to freestyle all the time..... both fab and von will be a ok at the end of they day cause they have worked hard and paid dues to get where they are

at the end of the day street credibility is more important than anything.....

lol, all i'm sayin is talk what you know. Quite frankly, you don't know me. SO ... STOP TALKIN. lolol, I didn't say Kelly Clarkson FANS were FAB fans ... If you knew anything, you would know that WILD 94.9 Plays/Played Kelly Clarkson, and/or Baby Bash ... Just because it doesnt make sense to you, doesn't mean its not makin sense. Notice you're the only person to make an attempt @ denying the situation I presented. If I was THAT WRONG, I'm sure more than YOU would have tried to correct it.
