Can we please wear helmets? Please? Ben Rothlisburger, Jason Williams, Young Ya Boy....All three of yall is lucky as fuck to be alive.
Helmet laws are stupid as fuck. Seriously.

If you ride bikes, you know what it's like...Personally, I'd wear a helmet, but I feel if you want to take that risk, go for it. It's not like drunk driving, where you increase the chances of hurting someone else.

And that shit (helmets) has nothing to do with these situations; Jay Williams fucked up almost everything in his body EXCEPT his head.

Quote from his DJ Digital Product : Photo taken by Ace

THE STORY GOES , HE WAS ON A MOTORCYCLE DOING SOME ROCKSTAR SHIT ... NOT WEARING A HELMET , NO THICK CLOTHING OF ANY KIND ... HE SKIDDED OUT AND FLIPPED THE BIKE A FEW TIMES AND HE WAS THROWN ABOUT 10 FEET FROM HIS BIKE AFTER HE WIPPED OUT. HIS ARMS , KNEES AND STOMACH WERE GASHED OPEN WHERE HE THEN NEEDED IMMEDIATE HOSPITAL CARE. WHILE IN THE HOSPITAL FOR SEVERAL DAYS HE WAS GIVEN MANY PILLS TO COPE WITH THE PAIN WHICH HE DID NOT REACT TO GOOD TO.
HE CHILLED OUT OF TOWN FOR ABOUT A WEEK BUT A FEW DAYS AGO WAS BACK HERE IN CALIFORNIA WORKING ON MUSIC IN THE LAB.A TRUE ARTIST PASSIONATE ABOUT HIS WORK.
damn man, thats all bad...

So...what's your point? What does that have to do with my post? What do you disagree with?

Like I said...that's a choice that they made (to wear one or not), and crashing does not equal head trauma, in all cases.

Again...I would wear a helmet, but it should be that person's decision, being that it physically affects them and no one else.

I think for minors, they should be mandatory. Along with carseats, booster seats, etc. Children aren't able (in most cases) to make that decision, and adults, more often than not, are not responsible in making it for them.

As far as helmets...there are reasons some states don't have those helmet laws. Sure, motorcycles are dangerous. Sure, you can suffer extreme injuries to your head from a crash. Sure, you can die from that same crash. But if you wish to take that risk, go for it. I know 2 people who died from motorcycle related injuries. They were both wearing helmets. I know people who have crashed and survived, with and without helmets. I'm around bikers (Harleys, mostly) every day of my life. The vast majority wear them when they have to, and pack them in their saddlebags when it's not required by law.

I got in a motorcycle accident last summer 07'.
Doin like 40-50 mph when a lady ran a stop sign and jumped out in front of me.
Ran into the back of her car and fell over to my left kinda hard.
I had a helmet on but injured my wrist and hips. Had 2 go to the doctor and shit.
But fuck that, I got a need 4 speed and was back ridin this past summer 08'.
But a friend of mine killed hisself doin some wheelies on his shit this year.
