That's a stupid question... Things change with time. The bay can't be the same thing it was in the mid 90's cause it's not the mid 90's anymore. I liked that mob shit a lot better frankly, but shit, I can't be mad if the newer generation got some new shit going on. That's just how it goes. There ain't one area where rap music sounds the same it did 10 years ago. East Coast rap don't sound like it used to, LA rap don't sound like it used to, Southern rap don't sound like it used to... That don't mean every rapper in the bay gotta come hyphy, there's different types of shit coming out the bay and that's coo. If somebody comes and do some updated 06 mob shit I'll be all for it, but as it is all that shit you talk won't change a thing. Leave it alone. Ronnie 9, you out there in every thread talking nonsense in half-ass english... it was funny at first but it's getting tiring. Nothing wrong with criticizing and having an opinion but if you never have anything constructive or positive to say, what you even doing here?

21-7 the OLD BAY LEADS. It was expected. Many headz aint feelin that much this hyphy shit.

Somebody said that the bay should not be separated in 2 periods but it`s wrongm, there are 2 differents sounds.

One more fact, while some of this hyphy shit have beats made on Fruity Loops, the Old Bay had beats by the big badass Ant Banks, Rick Rock...etc

True, but by just looking at guys like Spice 1 & Too $hort.

Theses two guys are near the end of the careers. And their old shit was A LOT better than their new shit.


So I'm going by that, of course their could be a new guy that comes out and is hot (kinda like San Quinn) but no one will be better than old Spice 1.
