yea i knew my point was that there wasnt really no new bay since its tha same niggas.....but i choose tha new bay shit im 21 not 35
I am also 21 now; started listenin to rap in 1990 and I can't stand 95% of the new shit; if you 21 now this means you must have grown with the classic shit or you just grown later than you should have

It wasn't on Get Low, it was on Buck 50 Records.
OK, I don't have an OG and I don't know what's written on ti. But I think JT was selling them and he was on it so I thought it was Get Low shit

Old bay is anything that was made prior to 98-99 and had those mobbin beats that Ant Banks, Mike Mosley, K-Lou, JT The Bigga Figga and a a lot of other folks did back in the days and that was tight as fuck

New Bay is anything that came out after 2000 and that was almost all trash

Fuck yeah I live for this shit. Old vs. New......I got to go wit my roots and stick to da OLD. But new bay shit is right there wit em. Old bay was a unique sound that no one can duplicate, thats why I like it better. I love how the whole nor-cal scene has gotten together and made a movement, but the draw back is that alot of stuff is soundin the same. 91 to 97-98 was hyphy in its own right, dudes was just reppin the block ya dig. I been listin to dis shit since early 90's and I seen it go from Best to allright to worse then back to allright now its almost at fatality status. IMP is my fav and Cougnut was alive in the OLD bay so
that is a major factor. Been a on and off member of this community since the begining when the sites werent merged like this( Which is way tight). Too many screen names to remember em all but I was G-$TATU$ for days. Im just ramblin on cause I got alot of love for this rap in da bay, shit its a huge reason I grad. High School(Wrote a 12 page report about all the aspects of nor-cal rap and got a grip of credits) If you are still readin this I put a big playlist of all orig. music ive collected over the years on myspace.

sales=the old bay...that includes Hammer, En Vouge, Digital Underground, Tupac, Tony Toni Tone, E-40, and a few others. Since then combined over the years niggas ain't sold that since. Give it 3 years and cats may be up there somewhere sales wise but still cain't nobody in the bay gunna fuck with Hammer.
