Yeah I am sure of the team (if Walter doesn't enter the season as our starting qb). But I am not going to worry anyway because Walter is pure garbage. There is no way he'll beat out McCown anyway. So forget the condition. The bet is on.

And to 3VID3NC3 there is no way Walter will beat any of them out. He's going to be 3rd on the depth chart. It's an open competition but we all know McCown will probably win the competition and there is no way Russell with be 3rd on the depth chart.

You're right... I was a Brooks supporter but I wouldn't say I didn't care for Walter. But after seeing what he brings to the table I can say he doesn't get my vote for the starting qb position. If it was up to me I'd start Russell from the 1st pre-season game and throw him out there in the fire so he can get used to the NFL's speed. But since we traded for McCown I wouldn't be opposed to him starting and hopefully finishing the season as our starting Qb.

Thats not completely true..I remember a poll after the season at raiderfans.net's forum about who should be QB next season and a majority voted to give Walter another chance.

Now everyone is focused on JR because he was drafted 1st overall and has alot of potential because of his physically abilities so the fans want to see him do well and start, thats only natural.
