Oakland Raiders through 2 weeks are 9th in total offense and 9th in total defense and Darren McFadden is second in the league in Rushing..

I know its early but these are still good stats and if they keep it up will translate to more points and victories..

Ain't no team coming close to the Raiders, I've got teams I like (steelers, saints, falcons) and players I like (Vick, Peyton, AD, Chad Johnson, steve smith) but fuck everyone I mentioned if they're plain the Raiders!!!!!

^Me too.... looks like we didn't need Spiller. McFadden is making defenders miss and holding on to the ball. I didn't think he had it in him either.... I would say he's been our MVP so far.

^^^^^^^ speaking of cj spiller, that fool aint done shit this year...
He's playing on probably the worse team in the league....

In regards to the starting qb for us, we're not stupid. It's Gradowski! He has the fans and teammates support. This goes back to his play last year. Ever since that game at Pittsburgh, I've been sold on Gradowski. He should be starting from here on out....

For what it’s worth, on the failed fourth-and-1 call at the St. Louis 6, he was trying to call time out because the Raiders were in the wrong formation but officials did not see him. When asked if the quarterback (Campbell) should have seen that it was the wrong formation and called time, Cable said yes, he should have.
It's time for Gradowski to take over....

Gradkowski on “Into the Night”
By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Tuesday, September 21st, 2010 at 11:32 am in Oakland Raiders.

A transcription of an interview with Raiders quarterback Bruce Gradkowski on “Into the Night” with Tony Bruno, courtesy of Sports Radio Interviews.com:

On whether or not he thinks he will start this weekend:

Gradkowski: You never know. I just have to be prepared and keep working like I’ve been. If my number gets called again, I’ll just come in there and try and do what I did the other night. The fans are awesome. The way that stadium was rocking the other day was unbelievable and I love those fans more than they even know.

On whether or not he thinks the fans might’ve influenced Tom Cable’s decision:

Gradkowski: I don’t know if they influenced coach or not, but I think they just wanted to see what I could do and if I could give us a spark. I was very fortunate that we played well in the second half. Our guys were playing well. The young guys, Darrius (Heyward-Bey) and Louis (Murphy) had a great game and along with Darren McFadden, he played tough. Our offensive line was playing tough like they always do. It was a really good effort on all parts of the offense and our whole team. Our defense, some of the hits they made in the second half were unbelievable.

On what his favorite nickname is:

Gradkowski: Yeah. I really don’t care. I like hearing them all. I like that Bruce Almighty, that’s pretty sweet. Anything they say, that’s cool with me. I just go with the flow. It was definitely exciting hearing the fans chant my name and it was a good day and hopefully more to come.

On when he thinks he will know about starting:

Gradkowski: Yeah. You probably should know by Wednesday. Jason is a good quarterback. We have a good quarterback room, we’re in this together, we all have the same goal and that’s to win and win a championship this year. It’s going to be tough but we need to focus and do whatever it takes to do that.

On whether he thinks he has been given a fair shot to start in Oakland:

Gradkowski: Yeah I’d like to think that. You always want to compete and do the best you can to be the starter. It was very unfortunate the injuries I had over this past offseason. I can’t control that. It was hard for me to really compete for the starting job when I wasn’t out there. We acquired Jason, he’s a good quarterback and we just have to get things rolling and get on the right track this year.

No, that was a well deserved call. The wide receiver did not deserve to get hit like that. I'll agree with that penalty every time.

BUT THAT AIN'T TO SAY I DIDN'T ENJOY THAT SHIT!!!!! I think that shit was needed to put fear into the opposition and to show the home crowd just what he can do and why he was drafted. It puts him on the highlight reels and gives fans something to cheer for. So that was a deserved and well earned penalty.

Well why didn't the Steelers get called for it then? In my opinion they looked similar.... Both players were dipped....

Do you think if 3 Raiders dipped Vince like the Steelers did they would have gotten flagged?

I'll give McClain a pass because he probably didn't know, I didn't either. That's football..... we grew up playing and dipping mf's like that in the backyard. I don't think he should've been flagged since the Steelers weren't flagged, and they (Steelers) dipped a qb on his head.
