PS2 Madden 09'

is off the hook! I think its going to TOP 07' for me! Im happy as fuck they got rid of those anoying ass bubbles on top of the players heads like in 08' that shit was anoying as fuck. I would ask yall how it is on the XBOX360 but I dont give ah fuck! Im happy with the PS2 version!

damn. just like last year, 08 was better on PS2 then PS3( the ps3 version was so weak it was almost unplayable) and the 360. whats up with that?

i'm not happy with the outcome of this game on 360. i like 08 on 360 way better. they changed so much shit that didn't need change. and they dropped Seahawks ratings to 87!

so far this game is dope (got it on the PS3). One problem though - I can run for shit! seriously, I'll have like 15 rushing attempts in a game with a total of 1 yard. lol. wtf is up with that? maybe i'm not used to it yet but for some reason I cant run at all.

yeah the rewind is gay but b4 the game starts you can select it to 0 rewinds.

anyways, I posted this in a different thread - anyone else having problems running the ball? I fuckin suck ass at running, seems like I'm getting hit at the line of scrimmage nearly every play. The best running game I've had so far was like 20 carries for 40 yards and that was mainly because I had a 20 yard run. lol. wtf?? everything else seems on point - passing, defense, etc. just cant run for shit.

I'm thinking maybe because when you do the Madden IQ test, they made the running test so easy that you get a really high score, so when you play the computer they step up the run defense. But, I retook the test and purposes did real shitty on the run test, still suck ass at running.

Thats what i was thinking of suggesting it was........High IQ on rushing or any other category for that matter, will crank up the computers gameplay for that skill....How is the passing on this game? Last year on the all madden level i would throw INT after INT.............

I found the passing to be fairly easy, which is good. It seems as if they got rid of that shit where you had to look your QB in the direction of the receiver before passing the ball, which for me I would fuck up on several times a game and throw a pick or get sacked.

so I've been reading on the madden forums and basically came to the conclusion that I just suck right now. Apparently a lot of other people are having problems running too, but others aren't. The reason is because it's supposed to be more realistic this year and you can just run to the outside over and over like last year and get 5-6 yards a carry. You have to be smart about hitting the right holes. Also I read some tips saying that it helps if you don't use the speed acceleration until you hit the hole. I guess it will just take time to get used to...

i skipped the IQ test so mine stays at 500 even. i'm better at running than passing. i usually avg over 7 yards per carry, mcfadden gets loose and gets gone
