end the argument by presenting the numbers. win/loss record, yards, attempts, td's ints and qb rating.

then take in the coaching situations at both paces. who dealt with differt o cordinators and what injuries were involved and i think the actual play over 3 yrs will plainly set forth the better qb.

but for the record, the niners are getting better while the raiders are not, and wont be any time soon. can we base this on qb play? maybe. the raiders have "the best cb in football" while the niners have the " best lb in football" there are a lot of similarity's in both teams. but in the end, wins count. stats dont mean shit.

the numbers are similiar. smith has played 8-9 more games than russell. i posted it in another thread. fatal knows this. even with russell's horendous play this year. the nfl is about consistency and neither russell nor smith have been consistent at the nfl level is the bottomline. the niners have more wins than the raiders and are playing better football right now. i never disputed that. i am a firm believer in w-l's at the end of the day.when taking the circumstances of both qb's combined with the stats , neither has proven to be superior to the other because both have had their times, however little that may be. i never claimed russell to be better than smith, rather smith not ANY better than russell.

well see i beg to differ. cause if the stats were similar radio, the 3 raider fans a ibet $20 a piece with that the niners qbs would out preform the raiders qbs wouldnt be hitting me like "dutch where can i send your money".... cause we all know raider fans are the biggest riders on the planet and will not admit loss or failure for nothing.

we can go into all these stats of the Raiders and Niners but id prefer quality of opponents beat and the Niners have yet to beat a team thats even good this year, Arizona doesnt count cuz they show repeatedly there very inconsistent and that last year was the fluke of all flukes

We all know the Jaguars aint the same team they were 2 years ago, have you seen the teams they beat this year? the only good team they beat is houston and thats a divisional opponent, they play eachother tougher. They beat the Titans when the Titans were the disappointment of the league.

we all know andy reid struggles against afc teams, check the records, we all know the bengals arent the same team since the stealers blew out carsons knee.

^^^ Philly is still legit and its the Raiders they lost too not a playoff bound team lol. The Bengals swept there division and are one of the best teams in the AFC, theres no excuse you can make for them.
