which according to ur formula u need to look at quality of losses too, not just wins. I say "ur formula" because you, like some other Raiders fans on here, try to discredit wins. What is this "quality of opponent" bullshit? This "fluke" idea everyone talks about in the NFL doesnt apply, it doesnt exist. Does the better team ALWAYS win? No, and to me a fluke is a once in a while thing, not a bunch of upsets on literally, any given Sunday. That's what that means, that anyone can beat anyone, and this is the only truth that exists in the NFL, in terms of wins and losses.
According to ur logic wouldnt the Raiders beating the Bengals or Eagles be a fluke? You cant just pick any game that u see to be a fluke. Wins-losses, thats it, thats all that matters. for instance, u can parade all u want about ur 3 wins but they dont mean shit when u lose 3 games in a row (Broncos, Texans, Giants) of a combined score of 96-16. (And i didnt even count the 38-0 beatdown the Jets laid 2 weeks later.) Those 3 games alone are worse than ANY 3 games the Niners have played this year, combined.
Did the Niners get embarassed by the Falcons? Sure, it happened. So thats 1 that made them look terrible. And yes, the Niners have had an underachieving season but they still played close games against the Vikings, Texans, Colts, Titans, and Packers by which they lost each by 7 points or less. (That's 5 out of their 6 losses!) We can sit here and debate about the "quality" of the Niners wins, but I can say the same fucking bullshit about the EMBARRASSING number of games the Raiders have played this year.
This "fluke" argument just doesnt make any sense. Anytime there's an upset it cant just be a fluke. The better team isnt always better. Thats why we watch it.
But leave it to Raiders fans to be so far removed from the idea of winning that they try to discredit another team for doing so.
