I think most of us want the 49ers to stay in SF, Candlestick has so many great memories for us...

but hey, the new stadium will be so fucking dope! I was peeping the youtube video posted and I was imagining myself in one of those seats in the 30-40 yard line...oh boy!

I dont give a shit. San Francisco 49ers should stay in San Francisco. Too much history in this city to move them to Great America. Save the "New York Giants play in New Jersey" because I dont give a fuck about them.

It would of been better if they stayed with the HP idea or Treasure Island. Would of been dope to have them near the water with the new bay bridge and Alcatraz in sight. Plus it would of saved people gas by using the ferry like SF Giants fans be doing.

It's too late breh we need to accept it the same way we accepted Alex would be back(and will never be gone). We all dreaded that too and look how it turned out. It'll be ok my fellow san franciscan 49er. Not having to worry about my beer being knocked over by the person sitting next to me or carrying it in my hand while i'm going ape shit during the game is going to be nice.

Treasure Island would not be a great location, yes the view would be dope. But the traffic would be 10x uglier than the Candlestick traffic..
True dat with that 1 lane exit. If only Steve Jobs would have created some kind of teleportation device to have fans get to one place to the gates would of been cool. Would solve all problems. Dam I gotta put this blunt down.

Joe Staley asks 49ers fans to stop doing the wave
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/sfo

San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Joe Staley(notes) has a reasonable request for fans of the team: Don't do the wave when the Niners are on offense.
The former first-round pick became peeved with fans at Candlestick Park on Sunday when he noticed they were doing the wave after quarterback Alex Smith was sacked during the third quarter of a 26-0 victory over the St. Louis Rams. He went on Twitter and kindly asked the fans to stop the mass cheer.
"Thanks to the fans for being so supportive and great this year so far," he wrote. "Keep it up. Just don't start the wave anymore when we are on offense."

Staley wouldn't have been out of line asking fans to stop doing the wave altogether, mainly because it's the the worst stadium ritual this side of the vuvuzela. He's accepting that sometimes fans just want to stand up in harmony to produce a rhythmic human undulation in a concrete bowl. Provided they do it at the right times, it's fine.
What's good for the goose isn't always good for the gander, though. Because when it comes to other sports cliches, Staley is all in.

Don't worry, the 49ers weren't on offense when Staley gave coach Jim Harbaugh the congratulatory Gatorade shower.

I understand they shouldn't have to deal with noise on offense at home, but they need to get over it and stop acting like weenies. If we happen to play green bay or new Orleans in the playoffs I doubt they will be able to hear Alex.

I agree that the wave is stupid but I cant blame the fans for feeling themselves and having fun knowing that the team has been in the dumps for so long and finally clinching a playoff spot at HOME. People need to relax and stop being the "im too cool for this or that" If I was there drunk as fuck, id doing that shit to. Happy as fuck that my team finally made the playoffs.
