Got to give major props to seattle though. Their D I thought played very well, especially putting losts of pressure on Rex Grossman. Alexander had a hell of a game too, I didn't expect to see him have over 100 yards. Great game, great season for da hawks considering all of the injuries

Fuck ! I was pulling for Sea-Town...that 3rd & 10 Pass really killed it for them...I knew it was done when they completed that right in between the Cover 4 !

Oh well, I feel like the best team won.

^^I thought he played very well. He was making smart decisions all game long. The only real mistake he made was the fumble (should have taken the sack or threw it out of bounds), the one INT he had was not his fault (Muhammad dropped a perfect pass). But yeah, if you've only seen him play the last couple games, he looked completely different. He's had a few games like this...

Difference in the game (and really the biggest difference between this year's team and last year's): Short Yardage Situations

We could not slug it out when we had to, that was the difference. I'm proud of this team, they fought hard, just didn't make enough plays.

Alexander needs to hit the hole quicker in short yardage situations. Is he always that sluggish in short yardage?
Last year he was 15 for 15 on 3rd & 1s, I remember hearing it was an NFL record of some sort. He is not the problem in those situations. Sometimes Holmgren gets too cute, sometimes the line doesn't block, today there was a broken play on one of the 3rd & 1s.

Shaun is just fine and runs harder than people give him credit for.

Great Call!!!
Naw your right, I was wishful thinking I guess. Damn that game was good but very depressing. I think if everyone stays healthy and Matt gets repaired, next year will be a different story.

^^Seattle should be a SB contender next year. All they need to do is pick up one or two offensive lineman and improve their D a little (secondary and would be nice to have a big body on the line). Although their division should be MUCH more competitive next year (St. Louis, SF, AZ).

The Hawks just fired their DB and ST coaches yesterday. Thats a good start.
