I heard last night on MTV2 that Remy Ma has a song with Big Pun on her upcoming album so that even shows that he's being pimped by the label and Fat Joe. If it wasn't for Pun, Fat Joe would still be emulating Treachs' style with that "Gotta Flow Joe" stuff.

I actually didn't see the MTV2 shit I read about this shit in the Source magazine and it was supposedly some quotes from Big Pun's wife saying they had to sell his TS chain to pay the mortgage and they have only received one royalty check from TS. Granted Fat Joe was ON before Big Pun but I think Fat Joe would have fizzled out if he hadn't discovered Pun. Pun surpased Joe especially lyrically on that Deep Cover remix alone (meet him in the middle of Little Italy....) If somebody here knows the info personally then maybe The Source needs to check it's sources but it's been said waaaay more than once or twice so it may be some truth to it.

I understand you have to go with who's hot fully but what does that have to do with Puns' family not getting residuals ?
