...really though I'm over here, Bay Area and Norcal music is the shit I play most of the time, so I ain't trippin too much off this, but, Nas did a show in my city last night and towards the end of his set he cut the music and threw a line in, something like "snitch
call the police like 50 cent". Shit was clear, the crowd was buzzing. Dude be starting beef from overseas. I been told he spit two lines before that too, but I ain't catch them. Erryone wants to get at 50 now, I think Nas could end his career though.

Is that what I said dog? I told you what Nas said, the fact he would handle 50 is not about what he said over here, but what he could do if they got into it.

Meantime I was just providing some new information for cats who speak on 50, I ain't care myself about that mumbling-ass retarded sounding clown.

Doesn't matter if theres a 'rap coalition' against him. Nobody gives a fuck what Nas thinks of 50. Or what Jadakiss thinks of 50. Or what Fat Joe or anyone else thinks of 50. 50's fanbase is so huge that by comparison, none of those other cats even exist. They're hardly a blip on the radar and definately ain't anywhere near 50's level. They might have some nice writtens but if you're talking about careers, the only person in the same league is Eminem.

Truth be told, Yuk's biggest accomplishment was a single (The Luniz "I Got 5 On It") that happened 10 years ago. Yuk hasn't really been able to get his own career goin', much less be in a position to end anyone elses. Why do you think he's constantly involved in beef and talkin' angry all the time? Cuz that ego & jealously is eatin' him alive.

Like it or not, 50's career is untouchable at this point and a couple angry rappers can't change that.

yuk could murder 50's career, but he scared n he knows if he lets yuk in he is done

Remember that line that Canibus spit at LL...something like, ''...99% of your fans wear high heels."

Well...in this case, ''...99% of 50 fans don't know who Yuk is."

TRUTH

So Yuk could make 10 albums of nothing but disses at 50, and he would STILL sell millions of records. Don't blame me...I'm just telling the TRUTH.

I must really not be paying attention to a lot of hip hop nowadays if 50 is as untouchable as y'all is making out. I been deep into hip hop for nearly 12 or 13 years now and played every hot joint that has come through. I played a couple of 50 tracks but dude did not register with me as being out of sight.

But see I'm not checking how much someone is selling when I decide what to play, I know we all strive to make ends, but selling so much off top doesn't make someone untouchable, ask Hammer y'all.

You need skills to have survival techniques, I can't see that in 50, he's not talented lyrically (that aint even open for argument) and he's runnin his mouth asking for someone to take him out of the game.

I don't cheerlead for nobody (except perhaps Bay cats who need their shit put out here) but to me Nas is one of the best lyricists. It's increasingly rare for a cat to have such a long history in the game.

The idea that he couldn't damage 50's career is funny to me. I ain't lookin at record sales to see that one mans skills can make another man's lack of skills look weak. Nas could put 50 in the shade.

Anyone who is tripping off how platinum 50 is, please, who cares about what every little girl and kid is buying in every corner of the globe. This ain't about who is marketed the best, this ain't on pop sales.

Straight out the gate 50 been dissing on people, it's only right that cats get at him with hip hop skills. What he sells is nothing. If Justin Timberlake dissed Nas would you be pointing out how much he sold?

Anyway thats just my two cents on 50 cent... I don't really care y'all, I'm just surprised at how he is already perceived, I never realised he was that untouchable. That's some heavy marketing right there.

Okay.... and finish off with reference to my original posting, my boy put me up on the line Nas spit before cutting the music at his show last night, I must have been too drunk to remember:

"Swellin my melon cause none of these *****z real /
Heard he was tellin police, how ima make 50 Cent squeal?"

Wrong. You need hustle to survive. 50 has proven he has that therefore no rapper can end his career. It doesn't matter how 'lyrical' a rapper is. Career's ARE NOT based on lyrical ability.

I don't cheerlead for nobody (except perhaps Bay cats who need their shit put out here) but to me Nas is one of the best lyricists. It's increasingly rare for a cat to have such a long history in the game.
Nas does have a long history but unfortunately his career isn't anything to brag about considering how many years he's been at it.

The idea that he couldn't damage 50's career is funny to me. I ain't lookin at record sales to see that one mans skills can make another man's lack of skills look weak. Nas could put 50 in the shade.
You say this because you don't understand business. In order to influence someones career you have to have power in business. Nas doesn't. All he has is his raps and those don't mean shit.

Anyone who is tripping off how platinum 50 is, please, who cares about what every little girl and kid is buying in every corner of the globe. This ain't about who is marketed the best, this ain't on pop sales.
Of course it is.. What do you think the music business is all about? Sales are everything when you're talking about the music business and careers. Don't kid yourself thinking otherwise.

Straight out the gate 50 been dissing on people, it's only right that cats get at him with hip hop skills. What he sells is nothing. If Justin Timberlake dissed Nas would you be pointing out how much he sold?
How many people do you think buy music based on "hip hop skills"? Not many. And why are you comparing Justin Timberlake to 50 Cent? That's apples and oranges.

I'm just surprised at how he is already perceived, I never realised he was that untouchable. That's some heavy marketing right there.
Exactly, and it means these cats are doing their job!
