well with the new ipods the "buttons" are different, so u cant force it to restart or shut down like you could with 20 gb n shit.
what i did to my 60 gb video when it froze was let the batter die.
only way u can reset the new ones
you are right though that the buttons are different. before to reset, i think it was the "menu" and "play" buttons, but now it's the "menu" and "select" buttons.

hmm , thats weird.
once i accidently loaded a video, then stopped it then loaded again (you know how it takes years to load one) and it froze on me.
tried the resetting n everything, even googled it to make sure (nerd) and it wouldnt work so i let it die out.
