Crank, the plot is just dumb as hell

Crank 2, The dude fell out of an airplane hit the ground and died, if you fall from an airplane you'll be squashed, spletter all over the goddamn city you'll fall in. Yet they gave him a new hart and he is up and running again.
The fuck is that about?
the thing about crank is that u GOTTA get over the fact that the plot is ass n just enjoy the action...took me a while but i fucks wit it now

Nope. Just don't get the appeal. I usually have a long list of reasons, but this one just didn't do it for me. I never really read why anyone likes it, just "old boy was dope". Maybe I'll like the Will Smith version
Will Smith is the main antagonist in the US version of Oldboy?

I think i just threw up in my mouth.

Anyhow, i think its the nature of the story. The elaborate scheme to torture the man that "killed' a mans sister of whom which he loved (and not as just a sister) and "got pregnant". To go through all that just to make someone else life miserable, even at the expense of his own life, takes alot of rage and dedication. Not to mention, what he DID to that person, is beyond fucked up.

Its a character study of the most extreme.

True, but the action and cinematography in the 2nd one is far superior of that in the first one, IMO.

^^^ lol, you be cracking me up. I agree with the green Mile, Grindhouse, Transformers 2, Fantastic Four, Austin Powers and 300 somewhat (action was good but storyline was wack). The main ones is wack ass Anchor Man and Talladegga Nights. The first Matrix was good, the rest was like why even bother, especially when it took like 5 years for the sequel. And fuck them Spidermans, Nuttkase is on point about Iron Man, its ok but why are people really so blown away by it?

Talladegga Nights was horrible. Only time I cracked a half smile was when he said even 9oz baby jesus?!

Actually, pretty much everything Will Ferrell has been in lately has sucked (besides his role in Eastbound & Down on HBO). He's a funny guy just making shitty movies, that basketball one was horrible too.

I actually liked his Basketball movie. He is an acquired taste IMO. Some hate him, some love him....much like Adam Sandler.

Reservoir Dogs = HELLA overrated

Just saw Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels for the first time EVER last month...its was cool, but not as great people make it out to be. Im a sucker for Guy Ritchie films usually.

What were your criticisms of Fight Club
I feel this movie is a bit overrated but overall excellent film - great plot, great acting, great direction, etc.

Shawshank
Love this movie

No Country for Old Men?
Not a great in any sense but one of the better movies that came out that particular year because movies have sucked horrible ass for the last few years, so the standard drops. If this movie came out in a different time period it would have been a forgettable film, but it gets rated so highly because hollywood has provided us with a ton of shit, and very few decent films. I personally enjoyed the film probably more than I should have for this very reason. Entertaining, good movie, overrated yes, horrible, no.
