Fedor Emelianenko vs. Kevin “The Monster” Randleman

*Fedor on this one. Randleman still has hype from his cro-cop defeat, and I believe it was a fluke win. Cro-cop is a sav, and would destroy Randelman 4 out of 5 times.

Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira vs. “The Texas Crazy Horse” Heath Herring

*Ha, Nogueira easy...Herring is washed.

Paulo Cesar “Giant” Silva vs. Naoya Ogawa

* Ogawa,. Giant Silva is too tall and lanky.

Semmy Schilt vs. Sergei Kharitonov

*Schilt, also tall and lanky...but he has this one. Excellent fighter.

Additional Matches:

For the rank of #1 middleweight:
Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (USA) vs. Ricardo Arona (Brazil)
The winner of this match will be positioned for a title shot in October 2004

* Arona. Jackson is commin off a slaughter by Silva.

Kazushi Sakuraba (Japan) vs. Antonio “Nino” Schembri (Brazil)

* Dont F with Saku...only Silva can do that.

Hidehiko Yoshida (Japan) vs. Mark Hunt (New Zealand)[/QUOTE]

* Comon, Yoshida..easy.

You might be right! I might have to come with a Pride vs. U.F.C. list for fun to see how they match up. It could be interestin.
No need to. Every UFC fighter who goes to Pride gets smashed on. Every Pride and K1 fighter who comes to the UFC gets cheated, cuz they arent "American" enough to win the decision. Its ridiculous.

Two quick instances off the top of my head. Sudo Genki vs BJ Penn. Genki took that match..clearly...but he wasnt american enough to win.

Sakurai vs Hughes. Ya, hughes comes in wayyyy above the weight limit, outweighing Sakurai by a lot...but nope...its ok.

Especially in light heavy. Who? Couture and Liddell? Ha, lets see how they do when there is no cage to pin someone up against. Couture wont even step to pride. Then when Liddell does, he gets dumped on..except when he KO's UFC fighters (ex-Mezger) in the Pride ring.

Anyone who is anyone in the UFC eventually goes to Pride.

Im still a major UFC fan, I just hate the politics and their rules. Man, if you stop a fight, put it back the way they were before you stopped it. Pride has their rules locked down. UFC would if they didnt want to control the matches so much. Oh, and the next UFC card is weak. Lets see how it plays out though.

Remember how HARD Newton dominated the UFC. Then he went to Pride and his record got shattered. Same with the Gracies...all of them.

It's easy to figure out.

Tito Ortiz is still the Man!!!

Fedor Emelianenko vs. Kevin “The Monster” Randleman

*I know I might sound crazy for sayin this, but I think Randleman might have a chance. He just recently lost his father so this could drive him to win in honor of his father. It could either hurt him or help him. I think in this case it might help him. You see a lot in sports. When someone loses someone in their life their drive to win is a lot stronger. We'll see how it works in this case.

Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira vs. “The Texas Crazy Horse” Heath Herring

*Nogueira should win this one without question. That dude is just too good for Herring.

Paulo Cesar “Giant” Silva vs. Naoya Ogawa

*I personally think Silva is just too big. Once you get him to the ground I don't think there's anything he can do. So I will have to say Ogawa in this one.

Semmy Schilt vs. Sergei Kharitonov

*I will pick Schilt in this one. He's really tall, but he can also move pretty good for his height. His reach will help him in this match.

Additional Matches:

For the rank of #1 middleweight:
Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (USA) vs. Ricardo Arona (Brazil)
The winner of this match will be positioned for a title shot in October 2004

*I am goin to pick Jackson in this one. Even though he's comin off a loss I think he will come back to his winnin ways. He's a tough son of a bitch! I think Arona is a good fighter too, but we have to remember that this time it will just be one fight for Jackon this night not two.

Kazushi Sakuraba (Japan) vs. Antonio “Nino” Schembri (Brazil)

*I will go with Sakuraba on this one. Nino will have to knock him out in order to win this one. Sakuraba can put him in an armbar in a split second.

Hidehiko Yoshida (Japan) vs. Mark Hunt (New Zealand)

*I will have to go with Yoshida on this one. He has really good submission skills. Don't know a whole lot about Hunt.

I like the classic Ultimate Fighting, them guys are savages. My homeboy was supposed to fight up here at Freddies in Tacoma this past may 15th, but right before the circut was fin to come here, some comission banned UFC from Wa. It was hella week, he'd been training to bust some f**kin' skulls, hes a sav for real though...

Hoyce Gracie is the man...

I like both organizations but lean towards a lil more to Pride. Both have ups and downs. For instance when it comes to PPV UFC is live but Pride is on tape delay. UFC doesn't show all of it's prelim fights. Pride shows em all. In Pride you can stomp a man and knee somebody even in the head while your opponent is down, but no elbow shots. UFC allows elbow shots but no kicking a downed opponent. As as ring or cage......I favor the ring because u can't use it to your advantage like in UFC Tito Ortiz style. As far as competition goes....it's basically somewhat of a toss up. I would like to see some fighters fight in UFC and Pride. And last..... Pride is known to "work" certain fights. Regardless......it's a good weekend of MMA PPV.

I am goin to have to go with Shamrock on this one! I just feel that he's finally healthy and will be able to control the pace of the fight. Although I have seen Kimo in his last couple fights and he has looked pretty impressive. He beat Bob Saap when it was lookin like he might be losin. He also beat Tank Abbot which actually wasn't much of a match, but still. So, it could go either way, but I will stick with my guns on this one and go with Shamrock.

Are you goin to this event ComputerNerd?

JUICE!!!! MY MAN!!! you are forgetting VALE TUDO!!!! still probaby the only one left where you can strike the back of the head and the groin. PRIDE takes it hands down, lets face it, the UFC is like the national conference, but PRIDE is like the super bowl of mixed martial arts, every fighter wants to go fight in japan, thats the big show no question, as for kevin randleman, he knocked out my dude CROCOP!!! i own every pride on dvd with the exception of 3, i also own 16 king of the cage events, 5 IFC events, 3 VALE TUDO events, 2 king of the cage events, and the bas rutten career 3 dvd set.

No doubt Bane! That's why as part of the poll I put OTHER cuz I knew I might miss somethin. Vale Tudo is probably one of the events I haven't really seen too much of. I would like to though. Anything and everything that has to do with M.M.A. I would like to see. I really never get enough of this shit. I wish I could watch every event, but there's just so many.

As far as Pride and U.F.C. goes I'm still split between the both of em. For some reason I get more excited about the U.F.C. events than the Pride events. I haven't really figured that out why yet either. I think it might have somethin to do with the U.F.C. havin a big roll in where M.M.A. is at today. I know in the end Pride is where every fighter would like to be. I mean you can tell the difference. U.F.C might get 10,000 in the crowd, but Pride will get around 80,000. I think Japan just appreciates martial arts more than we do here in the states.

As far as Randleman knockin out Crocop...man that shit was beyond me. That's the beauty of M.M.A. though. Anybody and I mean anybody can lose. I didn't really think B.J. Penn would beat Matt Hughes, but he did. It just so happens that who ever is better that night wins.

And damn homie, you own a lot of events. You should open up your own little rental shop for M.M.A. DVD's. I would rents some.

Oh, and Silva is a good choice. That dude is straight nutty! He looks crazy when he's starin his opponents down. That's one dude I would never like to fight in this lifetime. Unless I become a black belt in every martial art category there is.

Please tell me your kiddin! That shit can't be legal! Why would they want you to continue after your ass has already been knocked out? That seems too crazy to me. I'm gonna go look into this in just a minute. Sounds interestin, but at the same time crazy. I think I might like it though. LOL.

Nah, I don't have that kind of machine quite yet. I might know somebody who does though. Plus, I don't own any videos of events. I just usually get the Pay Per View and watch it that way. If I was a little smarter I probably should've been recordin all the events I was gettin. I just get so into it that I forget to record it. Maybe I should start.
