what purpose will it serve to create a union between mexico and canada?
And this american thing AH LA european union...uhm was it not in america with these 13 original colonies created a Union? all these SUGGESTIONS by cfr are well and good but they seem to be only that and it only points and hints that the presidents agree on their plan...it seems more like they agree on what is needed with the tri-country relations not exactly that they want this super america type thing......

Early when you answered my question of "what are our options?" in regards to this apparent progression towards an AU, you responded that we have two, one spiritual and one natural. However the basis of the spiritual path you outlined was leaving the US. First, I don't believe you ever answered this question, but if the purpose behind this whole movement is to eventually unite the world under a singular governmental entity, where could one go to that would be any better than here? Secondly, I am curious as to why the spiritual answer would not be staying put and fighting for what you believed was right, as opposed to that being the natural answer. You don't make any sense. I have time, and I 'll actually tell you why you don't make sense. First off, no one has implied that america is not a union.ALL of the states within america are bound by the constitution and the supreme court. Yes, states can operate on an independent level, but the control and independence the individual states have is limited. Can California sign a nuclear treaty with Russia? No. Can Florida sign a trade deal with Iraq? No. Now compare that to the countires that comprise the EU. Can Britain go to war when they want? Yes. Can Germany sign a trade deal with China if it chooses? Yes. Do you not see the difference? The united states is DIFFERENT from the EU, but a NORTH AMERICAN UNION would be very similar to the EU.

The members of the EU are COUNTRIES that still operate with a vast amount of independence. Do similarities exist between the EU and the united states? Yes, but these similarities are minimal.
These are not "SUGGESTIONS" made by the CFR, and I seriously doubt you knew what the CFR was before you read this thread. If you knew anything about the organization you wouldn't have said that. In addition, the presidents of all three countries involved have already signed on the dotted line. So much for only hinting at an agreement.

They have already signed this deal into effect and the ONLY way it WON'T happen is if one of the countries backout (UNLIKELY), one of the countries is destroyed, or the people wage a MASSIVE revolt.
