Sure is...and guess who will be the first to serve? You guessed it the poor and whats left of the middle class. Ohh and don't think running to Canada will help. Canada has said it will extradite all draft dodgers. Mexico probably won't be safe either as they trying to get the US, Canada and Mexico formed into a single 'American Union' a la the EU and AU by 2010. Once that is done N. America C. America and S. America will be combined into the Pan-American Union. Eventually there will be 6 regions under a world government. Oops, guess I got a little off topic there.

Not really. The recruiters have been caught several times instructing recruits how to circumvent drug tests and convictions. I really doubt they will pass on someone just because they have convictions or a dirty piss test or any 'ailment'. I've read of recruiters accepting mentaliy retarded people.

I'm glad you've started to see the Left-Right paridigm as just a false way to divide the people and make us think we have a choice. You've got to think of geo politics as the largest organized crime family on earth. Then everything starts to make sense. The various political parties are just different factions or 'families' if you will working for the same 'boss'.

Even if this goes through, yall really have nothing to worry about. Most of the military branches are WAY overmanned. The Air Force is going to get rid of 16,000 airmen by 2010. The Navy is the same way. The Army still needs people, but a lot of the people are cross training from the AF or the Navy to the Army

^^hmm, I've heard different. I thought the military has been short of all of their recruiting goals/quotas for the last several years.

Plus, who's to say they wont be undermanned in the near future (another war with another "terrorist" country, for example).
