got some questions of why the main guy basically rapes his girlfriend. it seems like he has split personality or something. weird movie definitely not the best of the genre though.

Exactly this movie was dope as fuck! the director is from japan though so maybe thats why its good hahah, this is the same guy who directed VERSUS, AZUMI, and BATTLEFIELD BASEBALL for those of you who know your Japanese movies.

nuttkase, you have any more movie recommendations. Im not up on many foreign horror movies if you can point me in the direction of some good ones.

idk how people cant like Funny Games (U.S.) i know they do a lot stuff you're not supposed to do in a "good movie" but it just makes it a better film IMO Michael Pitt is the new-age Malcom McDowell imo i love his acting.. anyways, Funny Games is a much better "horror" US movie but horror really can mean anything to you its all in the eyes of the people that watch the movies. Good example of bad US movies, The Strangers, The Doom Generation for anyone who's actually sat through it lol.

Cory have you seen that Vacancy 2 screener? i just watched it and thought it was o.k. at best there really was no point in it other than to inform you of how those people started doing what they do but the hotel and everything if i can remember right is completely different and it doesnt explain how the new characters come to be on the first Vacancy which is in the future.

some good foreign movies that i liked were [REC] , Haute Tension and scary for me was Audition these three made me jump several times.

I havent been able to find Martyrs anywhere, i cant wait to watch it though. Watching a bunch of French films next weekend though, hopefully.

in the process of watching The Orphanage also, its pretty creepy but not as creative as i thought it was going to be, most of this i've seen in other films where one of the character children go "missing"

naw pimp i seen it on there weeks before halloween. bc my girl even watched that shit before me one night when i was out with my niggas, Maybe our cable providers are different since you on the west and im in the midwest.
