You would think that Larry Coker getting shitcanned last season would motivate Lloyd Carr to win a championship. Big time programs aren't afraid to burn your contract if you don't perform up to expectations. Miami were predicted to be in a BCS game last season and we got blown out by Louisville and were in a brawl with FIU. Carr better enjoy Michigan while it lasts.

I think Oregons win has alot more to do with UM players giving up on their season, rather then them having that much better of a team.Oregon's better, but I believe that score is misleading.
u think michigan players were giving up on the season after one game. regardless of the first game and even the second they can still be the big 10 champions and that is plenty to play for.

for alot of these players its their final year and i doubt they wanna call it in and go 0-12

I disagree completely...especially after youve seen Mike Hart's rant after that game.

Oregon has HAD that potential now for several seasons, i think Dixon is finally gettin his shit together and Stewart is more experienced and DANGEROUS.

Oregon is very underrated in the Pac-10.

My Wolvies look terrible. I can't deny it. But I expect them to beat ND by a couple tds next week, even though Henne is probably on the shelf.. The defense is too slow to handle a team that can run an option-type spread offense.. Plus the corners are pathetic.

Any team can probably spread them out and kill that defense.

But being completely honest... Michigan can go 3-9 this year, and if there wins are against ND, MSU and OSU, I'll be fine with it.

It's called a LET DOWN.You can't explain it,it just happens when you lose a game with that kind of historical magnitude. You just lose that extra incentive, and start blaming other people around you.At Michigan you play for National Titles, you can save all that Big 10 championship talk,it's B.S....plus you have to carry that burden of losing to a D2 team with you for life, all the alum and ex-players take that shit serious. There is NO WAY IN HELL they could have been mentally ready to take on Oregon on Monday morning,2 days after what many call the greatest upset in Sports history.I never said Oregon should'nt of won,but Michigans talent is'nt as lopsided as that score was.Mike Hart is FRUSTRATED about getting touches.

A let down, of course. But you said they GAVE UP. Like they tanked that game on purpose. You dont think they came out with REVENGE on their minds???? THey got BEAT BY A TINY SCHOOL!!! Any team is gonna go out the next week and get revenge. Youre right, they just flat out dont have the talent this year. Yo know how many rookie Michigan players are playing in the NFL this year? 7 starters. THATS why this team is ass, becuase everyone LEFT.

Hart is frustrated by touches??? He had 25 carries against Oregon...dont understand what you mean by that.

You know i gotta flip you shit...didnt you say Henne for Hiesman???

Revenge?Naw...when your a second stringer, you start bad mouthin...I should be playin, blah blah blah...people start jabbin each other under their breath.Alot of kats ain't on that revenge shit, all their tryin to do is get to the league.Hart is still pissed about not playing damn near the whole second half against APP ST,that shit leaks over, you might hold that against your coach for weeks.Henne for Heisman is bye bye, thank god i mentioned i did'nt think he was a top 3 qb in the nation though.

Hart was out of the 2nd half due to some injury...he bacially sucked t up and went back out. Or maybe they didnt want him injured against a "weak" team...who knows.

He wasnt hurt? Well tell that to ESPN then, they reported it, not me. THey showed that fool on the bike in between plays and then he sat out. Like i said, maybe Lloyd figured that they WOULD come back and wouldnt need Hart. If your best player is ailing, why waste him on a DIV 1-AA team? Obviously, it bit them in the ass in the end.

Not injured, huh...well I guess ALL these reports are just making shit up:

"Despite being limited with a bruised thigh, Hart has run the ball 48 times for 315 yards and three touchdowns in losses to Oregon and Appalachian State."
