i'll go with that being from SJ. I've been throughout the East Bay the past few years but you gotta recognize while this younger breed may embrace the "Bay" culture like it's own..... those pushin 30 or above, pre "Silicon Valley" growin up with orchards everywhere, the "Bay" had nothing to do with what was going on out there. It was a place you sometimes went to but culturally it was more similar to Stockton than any city in the Bay. Lot's changed since the money came though especially demographically in just 10 years my high school went from majority mexican-white-asian-black to over 50% asian! Yeah technically it is in the Bay but that's it as far as I'm concerned.
