I dont know why DLH didn't use his reach advantage. He shoulda been throwing jabs all night and controlling the fight with them, instead of trying to go directly at Mayweather with only hooks and uppercuts. He played Mayweather's game and got beat...
he has more knowledge then mayweather u would think he would of used it more to figure him out. de la hoya iz a bitch tho i dont see why he dont like being mexican, he didnt wear any mexican flag colorz or anything to reprezent, julio cesar chavez waz right he iz a fake azz mexican

I'm Mexican and it didn't matter to me... It was CINCO DE MAYO anyways. Then again I don't care about CINCO DE MAYO and neither do the Mexicans in Mexico. :cheeky:

Mayweather walked in as the "Mexican Assassin" and whooped that ass. I swear people at the bar had acted as if Mayweather stripped Mexico of their independence after the match.

I think people understand Mexican culture a lot more than African culture, being that it's more in the ''mainstream'', so to speak.

Either way, I didn't take offense of it. Why should I? Mayweather's as much of a "Mexican" as De La Hoya, to me.
LOL

I don't really think Mayweather ''whooped'' his ass, but for all the talk about De La Hoya's strength, size, ability, etc...he didn't do ANYTHING to Floyd. Floyd OUTBOXED him, in my opinion, but didn't do it in a spectacular fashion.

Lackluster, boring, blah blah blah...it's still a W on his resume, and an L for DLH.

What is "African" culture? There's like thousands of different ethnicities there who speak different languages, practice different religions, and have totally distinct cultures. Aspects of West African culture in particular have been here since the slave trade, before any Mexican culture and is actually taken for granted now as just plain "American" culture (sometimes African-American) and folk lore, so this I don't agree with at all..
