It's so funny that people actually had Manny on the Top of there P4P list. Now since his catch weight fight with Cotto in 2009, Manny hasn't beating a good fighter in 4 years. Now for the fourth time in a row he is fighting a 140lber moving up in weight. This shit is too funny. Three years ago I was a so-called Manny hater, but in hindsight was I hater or telling the truth about Manny and Top Rank.

Manny is fighting bum bum Rios this can't be life. My how the mighty Pack-Man has fallen. Lol. At him finally wanting random testing after ducking Mayweather for 3 years.

It's a good come back fight for Manny this isn't about legacy or anything like. Often times when a guy gets KTFO they'll fight a scrub or a feather fisted guy. Hell, Marquez after beating Katsidis in a tough fight fought Likar Ramos and that was coming off a win so its good enough. This fight is really about seeing what Pac has left, building confidence etc. If he doesn't look good against Rios, time to hang 'em up.

Pacquiao vs. Rios odds: 'Pac Man' opens as 3-to-1 favorite

This could be the biggest fight of Manny Pacquiao's career. A win puts him right back in the pound-for-pound discussion while a loss would likely send him tumbling down the rankings, perhaps for good.

Longtime boxing superstar and former pound-for-pound great Manny Pacquiao will return to the squared circle later this year when he takes on Brandon Rios in a 12-round welterweight showdown at the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel in Macao, China, on Nov. 23, 2013.

And he'll do it at -400, according to Bovada.lv.

Pacquiao (54-5-2) opened as a 3-to-1 favorite over Rios (+300) despite the Filipino's recent struggles. After suffering a controversial split decision loss to Timothy Bradley last June in Las Vegas, Nevada, "Pac Man" was knocked out cold by Juan Manuel Marquez in December.

Rios (31-1-1), recently suffered the first defeat of his career by way of unanimous decision in a rematch against Mike Alvarado last March at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in "Sin City." The 27 year-old "Bam Bam" has 23 wins by way of knockout, but has not yet faced the quality of opposition that Pacquiao has.

Lol Rios weighed 161 his last fight. Can't believe this guy was at 135.Rios-Alvarado II: Live round-by-round updates | RingTV
Doesn't mean he'll be any good at 147. Boxing has a long history of guys who were good-great at one weightclass and move up 1 class and aren't as good at all. Especially guys that put on a ton of weight over night. Gatti comes to mind first. Good fighter at 135 and 140, sucked pretty much at 147. Same with Hatton from 140-147.

Not saying Rios will be good at 147 cuz the fighters there are better than him. Weighing 161 pounds is crazy to me though.. he must cut tons of weight. His career will be short, cant do that shit to your body constantly for very long (that and no defense ).

It's obvious that he cuts a grip of weight. The fact that he was even trying to make 135 was stupid. He was literally killing himself to do that. He is one of the examples that could be made for having same day weigh-in's.

I thought they had passed some rule forever ago that you couldn't put on more than 17lbs overnight after Gatti Put on like 20+ lbs once? Obviously that's wrong. I think rules regarding weight in boxing are good like 30 day and 7 day weigh in's.

Depends on the organization. The WBC as of last year wont allow a fighter to regain more than 10% of their body weight. The IBF won't allow more than 10 pounds in title fights if I'm not mistaken. But yeah there needs to be a better system 21 pounds over night is crazy especially for junior welterweight.

Call me crazy but I think Rios gonna give Manny problems. He hasn't fought a super pressure fighter thats at a lighter weight in a while. I don't think Manny is nearly as sharp as he use to be. I can see Rios fucking Manny up pinning him against the ropes.

Kinda think team Pacquiao is doing testing cause they hope for a Mayweather fight but that boat may have sailed. Either that or because Rios is working with Memo who works with Marquez.

Pacquiao vs. Rios To Have USADA Drug Testing
Funny how he felt insulted when mayweather asked for it, now when he lost his power (due to going clean) now feels like its the right thing! Fuckin cheater!

Rios is way too slow!
Manny at 50% should not have a problem with Rios pressure.

Apparently Pacquiao is concerned with Angel.

Manny Pacquiao has reportedly requested random drug testing for his November 23 fight against Brandon Rios. This is the first time this procedure will be used in a Pacquiao fight, possibly due to the presence of Rios’ strength and conditioning coach Angel Heredia, who also worked with Juan Manuel Marquez and has been involved with performance enhancing drugs in the past. Word is VADA will be doing the testing.

It's pretty funny how after Mayweather asked Manny for random testing in 2010, Manny hasn't KO'ed anyone and all these leg cramps every fight. But let's just act like I haven't been saying this very thing for three years now. Too funny.

Word is that Manny has 4 fights left with Top Rank, so will Manny cash out against Mayweather after his four fights is up? I would laugh but I said Manny would duck Mayweather until it time to retire and cash out.
