nah man it's not about play selection. I've always been a good runner at madden but for whatever reasons I'm struggling with madden 10. Maybe they made da bears suck horrible ass at running, i don't know because I haven't played with any other teams yet.

this new madden is not that good to me. The only thing im real good at is pass coverage. I like 09 way more this.

To effectively run the ball you need to run to your offenses strength

I use the Ravens, so its McGahee up the middle, Rice on pitch, stretch & Mclain up the middle.

Also check your offensive line run block stats, my RG is my weakest run blocker so I don't run any plays through him

and don't sprint, I was doing this before and sucked a fat one, just wait for a gap to open and juke a defender then cover up the ball once you are through the gap.

yeah it took me a while to figure it out i was having the same problem runnin tha ball......best thing to do is like they say all the time "be patient" dont hit the speed burst immediately wait til you see the hole open then hit tha hole as quik as possible....also you gotta mix it up....the AI is too good at honing in on the plays you run if you fall in love with them a lil too much.....

They need to make the qb's take better angles after throwing INT's. Every time I throw an INT my qb takes a bad angle and then who ever gets the INT usually scores.

If you try to hit the speed burst button in the beginning of every play your going to get tackled every time, you have to time your move when you go heads up against the defense. I would suggest hitting up the training on your runs you will understand how the timing works better.

Thanks for the tips. I started getting better last night. You just really have to pay attention to the holes and follow your blockers like a mofo. Before you can break outside and away from your blockers you just cant do that shit now that will always end up getting tackled behind the line.

BTW, I feel kinda ripped off. This game is not very different than '09 at all. Whatever though I expected that.

mix up your runs start with dives,power o ,stretch , sweeps, and tosses
Then go to readin how many ppl are in the boX
Also mess around wit your o line blockin

@ 2-0 Sixx are you running agianst the computer or an online opponent....I find it easier to run against most online opponents than the computer......And like mexicanox4 said mess around with the blocking scheme's

Game is dope and the best Madden since 1998 imo.
I like how this year its not as fast paced like last year. its far more realistic this year. You cant toss long bomb throws every play this year and it takes longer to master the running game. Miles better then last years Madden imo. Last years Madden = 7/10 this years Madden = 9/10.

My Broncos suck in it though lol.
