Rapper Mac Minister lost his attempt to appeal his life sentence after he was convicted of murdering Kansas City rapper Anthony “Fat Tone Watkins and another man.

Police believe Fat Tone and Germaine “Cowboy” Atkins were murdered in Las Vegas in May of 2005, as retaliation for the 2004 killing of Bay Area rap legend, Mac Dre.

Mac Minister and Mathis allegedly lured Fat Tone and Cowboy to Las Vegas with the promise of meeting rapper Snoop Dogg.

According to police, Fat Tone and Cowboy were seen leaving their hotel with Mac Minister hours before they were murdered.

The bodies of Fat Tone and Cowboy were found in a construction area outside of Las Vegas a short time later. Both men suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

According to the Associated Press, lawyers for Mac Minister argued that at least 10 errors were made during his trial.

The Nevada Supreme Court ruled only two of those errors shouldn’t have been allowed, but said even those had no bearing on the ruling.

While it has never been proven, it was suspected that Fat Tone was involved in Mac Dre’s death.

Mac Minister’s case received nationwide attention in 2006, when he was featured on America’s Most Wanted, as he attempted to elude capture.

Once convicted, there are rules and guidlines that must be completely exhausted regarding the due process. Appealing life sentences is an area of law in itself. Although you have the framework right, as in if he did he did it, the judges who want to ultimately up hold that conviction must entertain both arguments. Arguing over technicalitities dominates this area of law. There are many reasons to appeal. But most are crap shoots because the lower courts finding does carry weight plus the appellant is represented by a court appointed public defender/ attorney that is making a set salary and could give a rats ass if they win or lose the appeal. In the interest of justice of course....

i know you're a kid, so i'll explain this as cool as i can

the united states penal system is the enemy of the common man and is no bullshit, just stone cold fact, no silly stuff, an extension of the united states slavery/indentured servant business
while i'm far from saying no one deserves to be in jail(prisons are full of fools who are there for a good reason) i am saying it's never okay for an innocent man to be rail roaded so a DA can get a high profile win and get that much closer to state attorney general/gov/lt gov etc and be put into a system where rich people(rich people who have been rich since the founding of america) can pull a profit off lowering men to a sub-human level

say good when Sicx goes to jail
not when a rapper you like is killed and you think that person did it because the media said so
