You're crazy.
This season has been on of the best. They are actually explaining things in past seasons that made you go "what the fuck?" and the explanations actually make sense (for the most part).
A lot of it has to do with ancient mythology and the such. That big statue is Taweret the egyptian goddess of pregnancy and childbirth and when it was whole people could have children on the island. Fast forward to it just being the foot and no child conceived on the island can be born because both the mother and child die during child birth. What that means on the show? Fuck if I know but that's what the statue is.
I just hope there is nothing about aliens in it at the end. That would make the whole show officially suck for me.
The last two episodes have been really good.
Also, I believe Freaks made a LOST thread that got pretty big but when someone erased a lot of his posts it got deleted.

Plus Anubis holds a spear like object and the lost statue cleary doesn't. Also he has really long pointy ears and no "hat" like object on his head.

You can't see the front to see if it has titties or not. Plus there are statues of Taweret as taller and thiner. That one was just used to show that she holds two things in her hands (what they are called is escaping me right now) like the lost statue and also the hat and ears.
Anubis is always shown holding a staff and you can see there is no staff but that the statue is holding two objects. Plus Anubis is never show wearing a hat like that and his ears are way too long and pointy.
