this is not the final product.......the album got leaked and Flip is tryiing to work with Warner Bros. now. Sony bassicly screwed him over...i'll find a link....

T.I. has a better production team and has a good ear for singles. T.I.'s King wasn't what i thought it would be. It had some slumps on it but not enough to call it a heater. I'm still heavily slumpin Bun B's Trill album and that shit surprised the fuck out of me. I wasn't expectin it to be that good. I dl Trill but went out and bought it a week later......wish i could say the same for King and Thug Motivation 101.

Flip's last album was weak but it still had some tracks worth checkin out. I'm to the point where i just make my own cd wit a bunch of songs that i like and knock the whole cd without havin to skip a song. I'm sure everybody does that from time to time.

Daily Hip-Hop News:
SOHH Exclusive: Lil' Flip's Postponed Album Leaked, Houston MC Leaves Sony?
Tuesday - June 27, 2006 by Jolene "foxxylady" Petipas
Rumors are circulating that Lil' Flip is leaving Columbia/Sony for the Warner Music Group due to the frustration of his much delayed album I Need Mine.

In addition to the rumors, I Need Mine has leaked onto the Internet earlier today (June 27). Some insiders believe it is retaliatory move made by Sony. Representatives for Sony declined to comment.

As SOHH previously reported, I Need Mine was slated to have hit stores late last year, but it was pushed back to a May release which also never occurred.

Although details are still sketchy, sources from both record labels have admitted having heard the rumors. However, at press time it is still unclear whether Flip is out of his deal with Sony and if a deal with Warner has been negotiated.

I Need Mine features appearances from Nate Dogg, MJG, Three 6 Mafia and Lil Keke, among others.

Thats fucked up bc this is Flip's best album if it was mastered it would be something off the meters. To me it looks like Sony dont give a shit about non of they rappers except for Bow Wow & Three Six Mafia. And we all know they are the ones who leaked it bc the record labels be the ones responsible for leaking the albums.

They ripped that shit at less then that or it hasnt had the final mix down. Bc even at 128k the sound should have more life to it but the highs arent even crisp. Im thinking they trying to fuck up his career on purpose. Play it on a stereo and not a computer and you'll hear what Im talking about.

Houston, Texas rapper Lil' Flip announced that he is no longer signed to Sony Music Group and has inked a deal with Asylum Records/Warner Music Group.

According to Lil' Flip's manager Sandy Lal, the rapper will leave Sony with the rights to the master recording of his new album, I Need Mine. The move is the culmination of months of disenchantment between Lil' Flip and his former label.

“Flip and I are ecstatic," Lal, told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “Our relationship with Sony has been quite fruitful. I've always believed that Flip's potential is virtually unlimited, and we're really eager to take it to the next level. Being able to walk away with the masters to I Need Mine is an absolute victory."

I Need Mine will feature production by Mannie Fresh and others. The new CD was pushed back several times, with the latest date being June 27. The album is Flip’s follow-up to his platinum double-disc set, U Gotta Feel Me.

Asylum is a subsidiary of Warner Music Group, which already houses a roster of talent that includes Cam’ron, D4L, Mike Jones, Webbie, Scarface and others.

I Need Mine is slated to hit stores later this year.

Flip dissed T.I. ass on this I NEED MINE album I was listening to it getting weak. I forgot whick # it was but he was saying he'll have some bitches suck him up then rob him. IMO Flip is a better lyrisct then T.I. but the reason T.I. won they war is bc he was speaking the truth about him.

I can say one more thing though T.I. basically ended Flipper's career.
lol
cmon now... TIs first shit went gold..with 3 singles. flip goes platinum and multi EVERYTIME. not to mention flip supposedly slid on that fool over in TX. TIs new shit is dope, but it wont hit double plat. you can add all his sales together and they still wont equal a flip album
