Bruce Bowens defense is the shit he just has no offense besides the corner 3's, otherwise hed be up there too.

becuase he plays with two players that are in your top 20. If this list were made when Jordan was playing, would you have listed 2 of his teammates in your top 20?

Pippen, of course, but who else?

Jordan did more than Duncan, with less.

Besides, you're the one who made the statement, I think it more appropriate for you to explain why you think he "near Jordan" status.

Well hes as near as you can get to Jordans status as far as the NBA. He just doesnt get the coverage he should. If he liked to yap all day and scream like a moron every time he makes a play (Garnett) then everybody would unanimously agree he was the greatest player of his era. The titles, the MVPs, basketball IQ, makes all his teammates better.

Plays with 2 players in my top 20? I didn't even produce a top 20. And if I did niether Parker nor Ginobli would be anywhere near it.

Pippen is a top 50 player of all-time. Don't forget that the 2 years Jordan was away from the Bulls they reached the Eastern Conference Finals.

the reason i put nash before kidd is because he's playing at a higher level now for the past 4-5 yrs and that pretty much what i'm basing shit off of but besides that kidd has had the more productive career but i still think nash makes a team better

Yeah, my bad - it was the dude under you.

Anyways. Duncan is one of the greatest centers to ever play the game...but not near Jordan.

And, if they made the finals twice without Jordan, then you're gonna have to consider who their competition was in the East at that time, not just take their accomplishment in a vacuum. Cav's made it to the finals last year, but got blown the fuck out. Bulls wasn't winners without MJ.

Another small reason - I wouldn't draw a play up for Duncan to take the game winning shot. He can create his own move in the post, but a center would never be a clutch shooter.

Shaq is a better center than Duncan. Is Shaq "near Jordan"?
