what the fuck is Kiffin's deal with wanting to start Mcknown (sp?) so bad? Daunte played better in the preseason but didnt start, hes shown that hes better each time he has palyed during the season, yet Kiffin still wants to start Mcknown...

Do they just not want to have to pay and keep culpepper next year if he does hella good this year? Do they want their starting QB to suck on purpose so they can have a reason to bring in JR faster? I don't get it...

Start Culpepper!!!

^thats most likely it, al davis doesn't wanna give him extra money and there's probably bonuses for games started or something like that......I still think its better to have Dante start this year then Russell start next year with Dante as backup (if he beats him out for the position)

ESPN's Chris Mortensen also reported Sunday morning that JaMarcus Russell is coming along quickly and could be starting by Thanksgiving. Culpepper had a nice day against the Dolphins, but his status as a starter appears to be very week to week.
hahahah ditka and parcels got pissed when mortensen said that and pretty much he dont know shit

Kiffin said x-rays on LaMont Jordan's back were negative, but that he is undergoing more tests.
Initial reports indicated that Jordan's back injury could be serious, but this is a great sign that it may be something he can overcome during the Raiders' bye week. If Jordan is to miss game action, Dominic Rhodes and Justin Fargas would likely split carries in Week 6 against San Diego.

Randy Moss vs Deion Sanders

Who'd win this match-up? Does anyone think Deion Sanders could have held Moss in check (less than 100 yards and no TD's)?

kiffin isnt going to anounce the qb till closer to the game thats his strategy, but russell wont start this season i think, dante should start everygame, but kiffin has a boner for mccown for some reason, either way russell aint gettin a start for quite some time

Michael Bush may see some time this year, I hope he is the beast he was pre-injury.
In two weeks, another highly regarded running back will be added to the mix. Michael Bush, a fourth-round draft pick from Louisville, was considered a Heisman Trophy hopeful until he broke his leg in last year's opener for the Cardinals. He can come off injured reserve for the Oct. 28 game at Tennessee.
