I'd have to agree, and when Bynum gets back, that could be the boost they need to make a serious run at a championship. I didn't see them doing it this year, but the way they've played since Gasol got there makes me think it's possible.

Hornets may be first in the west, but I think the Lakers would easily beat them in a series.

lol..regular season games don't mean shit..its the playoffs where it counts..lakers have lost to the suns past couple seasons in the playoffs...yeah they beat us yesterday but they didn't blow us out...

the lakers dont have to beat anyone but the spurs. They are the defending champs which means they are the best team. With the addition of kurt Thomas, the spurs match up pretty good with the lakers... It will b very interesting to see how things turn out in the play-offs

Thats fine & dandy, but until and if they make the finals, they arent the best in the west!! People can have their opinion of who they think are the best, but thats all it is! So just let it play out and if they knock teams like the Spurs, Suns etc.. Then yea they are but it wont be a easy task!! I think its a coin flip!!
