I give a fuck, bro... thats why I said what the fuck I said... I havent lost a child, no, but Ive lost family and friends, so I know what the fuck theyre goin through... Ive never shown up to court, let alone shown up to court in gang attire tryin to prove a point... And no I cant tell a family how to grieve, but showin up to a courtroom wearing red and sayin youre son wasnt in gangs is just being hypocritical and showing no fuckin class...
I lost a lot loved ones too to this gang shit....but like I said we all handle death in different ways and just cuz someone dosent grieve the same way u do dose not make it wrong or right....and maybe they have no class the way they showed up to court...but truthfully I would have showed even less class and probably would have rushed dude in court or beat the shit out of his family...so it is what it is but im not gonna judge the next person how they handle something like this

bro for me thats all beside the point...im not one of them people who think cuz ur in a gang "you had it coming" or deserved to die...yeah the media probably made it seem like dude was an angel(which they usually do the total opposite)...and they probably painted that picture to make mexican gangs look like their just out of control killing random black folks to stir up more drama....but at the end of they day dude shot and killed ol boy who had no weapon on him in cold blood and him and his family are the victims period!!!

And im a firm believer in "u live by the gun u die by the gun" which may be the case with this kid but i can still feel sympathy for his fams loss and i just dont get where ur anger for them comes from???
i havent the slightest feeling of anger in any part of this situation, towards anyone, bro. Trust me. Im just tryin to lay some info down other than what the media is feeding the masses... If you interpret what im sayin as anger, than youre mistaken... Theres at least one person on here that kinda sees what im sayin, tho...

if i was really angry, i woulda done it...

But youre correct... It is my opinion, and in no way am i making light of this kid getting killed... Its fucked up, and no one should have to go through that. But this sr. Should be tryin to get rid of all gangs, not just latino gangs... Bloods and crips are active as fuck, too...

The media has always been a tool for dividing classes, cultures, races... People as a whole!!! Why doesnt the media ever shed light on the other dozens of homicides where its latinos killin latinos and blacks killin blacks that have occurred since then??? Granted, none of them might not have been future football stars, but they were people just like he was...

Stories you probably you never heard of because the victims were mexican

The Bishops Bloods gang is known for running the 52nd Street corridor on the Eastside of South L.A.

Most of the set's beefs seem to involve other African American gangs that dwell in the LAPD's rough Newton Division, but for some reason a Blood named Baby Uzi opened fire on at least two Latinos who weren't banging, killing them both.

The U.S. Attorney's Office this week announced that ...

... Baby Uzi, a.k.a. 22-year-old Marquis Edwards, has pleaded guilty to federal racketeering charges stemming from the two murders in 2006 and 2007. (He wasn't even 18 at the time of the attacks).

Here's the feds' rundown of Edwards' crimes in and around the Pueblo Del Rio housing projects at 52nd and Alameda streets:

Edwards admitted that he and other Pueblo Bishops gang members participated in a September 4, 2006 ambush attack on a group of young people. Edwards jumped out of one of the vehicles involved in the attack, chased the victims and shot 15-year-old Jose Maldonado at close range. Maldonado - a high school honors student who was not affiliated with any gang - bled to death on his own driveway. Two other Latino youths with Maldonado were also shot and injured during the shooting.
On the night Maldonado was killed, Edwards and another gang member returned to the site of the murder, where family members had gathered for a vigil and to clean up Maldonado's blood. The other gang member shot into the vigil crowd, injuring one.

Edwards also admitted to participating in a March 18, 2007 attack in which a 35-year-old single mother was fatally shot. Edwards and other Pueblo Bishop Bloods gang members in a convoy surrounded a van driven by Laura Sanchez, who yelled at her 18-year-old son to get down, which likely saved his life. Sanchez was struck by multiple bullets and died that night. Her son was able to escape the car and survive. Neither Sanchez nor her son had any known gang ties.

Following longstanding FBI and LAPD investigations of the gang, Edwards was indicted May 25 of last year.

The gang was also hit with a RICO indictment.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says Edwards is the forth Bishops Bloods member to plead guilty in connection with the above killings. Additionally, 33 of the gang's members have been convicted under the federal crackdown.

When he's sentenced Aug. 20, Edwards could face life behind bars, the office says.
