Seriously?

Sometimes i think Strange Music is just too ahead of the curve. Listen before you all open your mouths and bump your gums without fully grasping my point. Strange incorporates ALL kinds of music, not just on the label, but in production, features, assosciations etc. I mean, a label like Strange can go from having a Tech ft. twiztid song, to Colors by Kutt Calhoun. The more gritty, street sounding/pounding shit. I unno, i just feel Kutt delivers an elite sound to the street/gangsta rap sound that lacks otherwhys (no offense to S&S, i do enjoy there music to some degrees). Bleh, another rant but good job with Feature, and i hope you start getting the spot light/attention you deserve kutt.

"Feature Presentation" is definitely a solid record, though its got some subpar tracks, kutt did his damn thing on that joint.i would still put "vitiligo" and DEF. "killer" comfortably above it though...tech and krizz are in a different league imo.

def. the best strange release ever outside of tech's catalogue and "vitiligo" (not that thats saying much though...shit, besides "bleve" strange doesnt even have another good album)

had a lil too many songs about girls and shit for me, id rather hear kutt spitting street shit then the personal/groupie shit...but thats just me.

I thought it was dope as hell. I was disappointed at first with bunk rock bitch because of the autotune, but after bumping it a few times, it grew on me. Probably because he's actually rapping something in the song, unlike lil wayne. The Intro had me crackin up. That shit was hilarious. Almost every song on there was dope in one way or the other. The only one i wasnt really impressed with was Shotaz. Not that it was a bad song, but it just wasnt as good as the rest of the album. I think Speed, I See It, Killa City, Run Away, The Best Man, Colors, Wipe That Sweat & Whoop D Whoop could all be viable singles on the radio. Run Away i think is a very radio friendly track, Wipe That Sweat is a really good club track and of course Colors is an excellent street single. Killa City also has a good hook, and nice raps. I think that Strange Music could really make a big push for Kutt to the mainstream with those 4 songs and Bunk Rock Bitch. He definitely has a great flow, and knows how to rap over the beats with the right pattern. I can definitely hear him on the radio with any of those songs and really making an impression nationwide.

It's an improvement over BLEVE, and i bumped that one almost every day for a few years, and it still gets spins today. There were abunch of songs on that album that could have/should have gotten radio play. I think they need to make a video for Kutt and push it harder than they have the other Strange releases. Killer & Vitiligo were dope but this one is the one that can really push Strange Music out there. And once people start listening to Kutt, the will start listening to the people around him.

But thats just my 2 cents.

You hate to say something is better than a Tech release, so I'll refrain from that for now. But, outside of Tech, Word on tha Streets is the best Strange album this year, IMO. Kutt's album was good no doubt, but not like I thought it might be. Although, Bunk Rock Bitch is by far the best sounding individual track (with HELLA mainstream appeal) put out on Strange music this year, and this time I am including the music from Killer. :eyecross:
