Wrestling legend Kurt Angle was arrested early this morning on charges of driving under the influence ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement tells TMZ ... Angle's car was spotted by another driver ... swerving between lanes on I-66. Angle was busted by Virginia State Troopers, who responded to the call, and taken to Warren County Jail.

He posted $2,000 bond and was released at 3:31 AM.

Angle won the gold medal in wrestling at the 1996 Olympics before turning to professional wrestling. He made his name in the WWE and is currently under contract with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling

How much worse could the face of TNA look right now? Dude just knocked the top 50 WWE stars and then apologized... Now he's picked up again..

I always respected Kurt and thought he was a pretty normal person but his actions in the last 6 months or so make me wonder if he suffers from depression or what not

They're out to get Kurt or something, news reports are coming out now that he passed his breathalyzer. He was under the legal limit, they said they arrested him cause he swerved so that made him "impaired".

Same thing happened with his last DUI, he passed his breathalyzer and his field sobriety test but they got him with being "impaired".

Damn cops are annoying as hell, why make a law which includes a legal limit if it don't get followed.

I think the only thing Kurt is doing wrong is bad driving.

when angle came into the wwe he was one of the best heels i'd ever seen. havent seen him work in years but from what i remember he was great.
