Ain't realy no King of the West. There is a King of LA battle between Snoop and Game (I think Game needs to put out a CD without 50 before he can call himself king of everything). Mitchy and Jayo got Dago on lock. Planet Asia got Fresno on lock. San Quinn is the only rapper I have ever heard call himself king of the Bay ( I would tend to agree), E-40 has always caled himself the Ambassador of the Bay. None of these dudes have ever had the entire state on lock since SNoop in his heydey. Well Pac did...
pac was the last king of the west..anybody who claims to be king has to accomplish what he did: and thats bringing everybody from the west together..cuz when pac was eatin so was the rest of the west coast..now the nigga is dead and we don't know how to get along...
and i ain't talkin about pac's lyrical skill..we need somebody who had the power and the industry money to put us back in the game...only people who have the power to do that right now is dr. dre, ice cube, and snoop dogg
the game had that oppurtunity, but i think he fucked that off by dissing curtis. now curtis is getting the last laugh because they don't call 50, curtis "interscope" jackson for nothin. i am sure he got into jimmy iovine's ear about it..anyway just my two cents...

u think snoop is the king is the west, yall niggas are fucken idiots...he makes some corny ass music, his last nice album was doggystyle...that was it!!!! Remember him from No Limit? hahaha what a fucken joke, nigga got no lyrical talent...say the same old fucken shit all the time, hes wack. The reason why hes so renognizable is because of the hizzle fizzle shitbe saying which he stole that from E-40. Snoop aint never been hard, hes wack. The only nice nigga from the south now is Cube, now that nigga got real talent. As far as right now the Bay is holding down the west, is not just the Hyphy movement its everything coming out the Bay is hot....real talk.
Snoops never been the king of the west in my book, after the dogfather all of his music went down hill. then he re invented himself with the pimp shit, it was over from there if you ask me. The Game, naw, hes nice and all, but no king, i'de be suprised if he gets the proper promotion and marketing from interscope this time around. There is no king of the west at this time if you ask me, it doesnt matter if your an icon or not, if the musics not consistent then you dont have a run for the title. 40's doing his thing, but i rather hear him busting how he use to rather than every track about hyphy and muscle cars, but its all love for 40 on my end. If MD was alive though, he would have the crown on his temple
