Ain't no one even trying to make that claim as far as rappers speaking for themselves.

Most would say Mac Dre but hes not around anymore, I say the throne of King Of The Bay is Vacant till further notice

I don't think we can have a King of the Bay until we got a buncha of bay rappers nationwide doing good numbers. Right now its the whos the king of the rappers who push 30k tops, ain't that much of a claim to fame right now. The day when average bay area rappers are able to sell 100K and the top rappers are able to go platinum thats when they will have good claim to call themselves the king.

TI didn't try to call himself the king of the south till he went platinum, same goes for biggie, Nas, Jigga and the long list of rappers who claim to be t6he King Of New York, these guys are doing it big time.

Yuks a tight rapper, but man its hard to be called the king of the bay when you got your chain snatched hella times, got beat up by spider loc, clowned by the Game etc etc etc

Its not just tight raps that will make you the king, you gotta have presence. No one would fuck with a king like yuk has been done in the past. Yuk would be king of the ba for like 10 minutes before some aspiring rapper would come around and put him on blast for the above mentioned shit among other shit that i didn't even mention

there's a lot of great rappers and different styles in the bay so it is very hard to call someone the king. they gotta put it down for alotta years and be persistent. e-40 could've been called king a long time ago but his flow now is nothing like his fast and nice flow before. if mac dre was still alive i would call him king because u can listen to both of his old and new styles and like em both. but for now, no one really deserves it in my opinion
