the reason the south dont be hatin is because they grew up on west coast and east coast rap...and they are humble enough to admit it..i bought one of my first few albums, heavy D, in little rock arkansas...kids were breakdancin and doin the hip hop thing because it was cool..ny hats...southern hospitality....your house is my house and vice versa..the south wasnt always on..damn it feels good to see people up on it.

True. Growing up in North Carolina, we listened to everything. me and the people I ran with always listened to West Coast music more than anything. I grew up listening to Parliament, Bootsy Collins type of music so the west coast sound at the time was right down my alley.
