The defense actually wasn't bad at all through most of the first half of last season..they kept us in the game but the offense never took advantage and got a big lead..the offense was not able to sustain drives on a consistant basis. Also the biggest problem on offense wasn't Collins, it was the offensive line. Jordan didn't have much to work with most of the time and there was alot of penalties which forced the offense have to pass. Collins is the type of quarter back that needs all the time and protection possible to be affective and he rarely got that. Brooks mobility + an improved offensive line will make a world of a difference.

I dont get this guy.... He gets the big $ yet hes cryin about it..... I guess he got so used to Callahan and Norv but this is Coach Shell who is gonna make you earn your pay not just hand it to you..... We cant cut him now but I guess having him on the bench is gonna reduce his stock for the future

Dude that's the same situation as ASSLIE. He thinkns just because he was a 1st round pick he should automatically be a #1 wr, then we go and get Javon Walker and he cries because there is more competiton...oh boo whooo if you want the #1 spot EARN the #1 spot.

yeah the only difference is Porter is just complaining because he expects it to be an "easy" camp.. He knows Moss is #1... Shell is actually making the guys work hard.. The pay isn't just going to be handed to these players like it was back in the callahan/turner era.. But Shell is doing the right thing in this situation, dont let any player get their way. He knows he's boss

The Saints as a team have gotten alot worse over the last 3-4 years...you cant just say its cuz Brooks or Brooks has fallen off just cuz the Saints as a team fell off. Their defense was pathetic and their O-line fell apart. We'll see how he does here...he's never had a weapon like Moss to work with.

yea but atleast he had horn stallworth and deuce and a solid line. he has none of that in oakland. hes gonna continue throwing passes to his line men. i think robert gallery is gonna be your guys leading reciever after watching this

^Saints line was garbage the last couple of seasons..when they had a good line Brooks produced..and how can you say the Raiders have no offensive line without even seeing them play yet...they were poor last season, but the season before they were one of the the strengths of the offense. Lets see how they do with some adjustments and guidense from Art Shell.

They're good when they're on their games.... but the Saints as a team lead the NFL in dropped passes. The Saints were a bad coached team.... players running the wrong routes, Brooks fumbling and throwing backwards passes, the defense couldn't tackle anybody.... When everyone was on their games... Brooks played good. As soon as someone started fuckin' up.... Brooks began to fuck up.
