I know I will get a lot of heat for this but
hey i wuz just listening to the Curse cd again
and it just kills Gods Son. Everyone wuz
saying how great Gods Son is and all but
I'm feeling The CUrse cd way more. U got
a good dark tale in "meet the parents" , jay z's
story telling track, "blueprint 2" where he
just rips Nas its hella tight!!!! great song!
and guns n roses with kravitz and some ppl
hate are the other bangers along with others.
I haven't given the Gift cd much of a listen yet.
But i'm feelin jiggas lyrics more than anything on gods son fa sho.

i dont know, after hearing Jay Z's newest album I have gained a little bit of respectability for him. I still think a lot of times he is rapping about bullshit, but some of the songs arent too bad...

I dont have Jay's new cd so Im a little biased, but Nas' styles concepts and flow to me blow jay Z outta the water...If you only have Mastermind and Book of Rhymes on your list, you must not have heard the single Made You Look, or Carry the Cross, I Can is hard too, and not to mention probably the best song on the CD Last Real Nigga Alive...

I have heard Made u look, that song is average. its ok. im gettin used to it now on da radio and video. "i can" is hard? lol that song sux to me. and last real nigga alive didn't appeal to me. I think he
is very very overrated. LIke jigga said in "blueprint 2" that song
is HEAT!

Jay-Z's album was pretty good...he coulda easily made it one disc tho..too many filler tracks...and "Guns and Roses" is awful to me..."Some People Hate" is one of my favorites on the whole thing

Jay Z only knows how to rap about bling bling shit...he has no soul in his music...jus blah blah blah blah...he lucky he got nice beats to cover up his phony ass rhymes...trueazn you ain't posted nothing but bullshit up on this board....if u post up some thread about lil romeo...I elect we ban you looooser boy =P

If Jay-Z's album was a single CD album, then it would be hard to judge which is better, Nas or Jigga. But since it's 2CD, I'll have to go wit Nas's album. New concepts, styles, flows, beats, etc. But I like the Jay-Z album a lot too, "Ya homie Jungle is a garden to me", that line was dope to me. That diss song towards Nas was raw. But yeah, any grown man who listens to or BUYS Lil Romeo products, hah, go figure.

first part I really disagree with based on actually listening to the songs on the album, not just the radio songs, which I never like.....the second part of your post I totally agree with

The most reliable way of detecting a phony hip hop fan(100% accuracy) is to ask them "who's most recent album is better, Jay-Z's or NaS'?"

Jay Z is pure commercial and junk. His ryhmes are wack. Jay Z fell off. On a double Cd you better have some material. If you add the Lost tapes wit God son, I will say Nas eventhough I like Cormega album the best of 2002
