The thing is, Jay has become a lot bigger since he retired.. However, he managed that, I don't know, but more people like Jay now that he's retired, well not anymore, than when he was rapping.

His shit will sell more than his last album. He'll put up 50 Cent/Eminem numbers.

people over there are talking about how jay is using def jam to whore nas out (because supposedly, jay's new album is coming out very close to the date of nas's album release, on the same label), and how jay used the money that was supposed to be used to promote method man and the roots album (which hit record store shelves without warning) to buy a ferrari for a video shoot in monte carlo and shit
