In the upcoming edition of Entertainment Weekly, Def Jam President Jay-Z will finally break his silence about his new album. In the cover story titled “Jay-Z Returns,” the Brooklyn rapper-turned-exec gives details about coming back to music after retiring three years ago. “It was the worst retirement, maybe, in history,” Jay tells EW. “I believed it for two years.” Jay’s new album Kingdom Come, rumored to be in stores this November, will feature production from Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Kanye West and Coldplay’s Chris Martin. Entertainment Weekly’s Fall Music Preview issue will hit stands on Friday, September 15.

Cam'ron isn't ending anyone's career. Jay-Z (whether a good thing or not) could sell a million records farting on a Kanye West beat. Open-toed sandals on the front page of a prominant New York newspaper...that's GREAT publicity, and Cam'ron disses that?

@Everyone else. Mr Forbes or not hes a fucking loser. He already killed his career. Think about the way he used to rap and the way he raps now. When I was in High School back in 98. Jay-Z had talent I cant hate or lie about that. I watched him get worse as album after album went on. Cam'ron started out ill (C.O.C) and then went worse and then came back. C.O.C kills any of Jay-Z's cds. Big L and Cam and Murda were the illest rhymers. L died Mase sold out. Cam still can flow very well. Jay-Z fucked up hugging up to Nas. Jay-Z's career is over (more or less) people will still buy his albums. Dipset is somewhat fresh (With all the new members.) Think what you want but I give Jay Z about 2 more years before he retires again. We will see when soundscan shows his album sales.
