^^^hahaah exactly

last time i checked he was talkin about the same shit him and 50 other rappers were talkin about in the last 500 albums i have heard. have NO idea where this grown man shit started

think its just an excuse that has no arguement,so elitist jay-z fans use it to make people feel stupid.

The album was cool to me, not spectacuar though. I think it was solid up until track 8 and then it falls off hard. The Beyonce, Pharrel/Usher, Coldplay songs were garbage. I think Just Blaze did his thing on there though, I think he is one of my favorite mainstream producers right now. BTW, I htought The Black Album was 9.5/10, the Eminem produced song is the only thing on there that i wasnt feeling...

^^^ I think the production wise, this is his worst album. THere is NO standout tracks, and even the Dr. Dre producedtracks really lack (Lost Ones, 30's the new 20). Jay-Z really shines on uptempo beats (Is That Your Chic, JIgga Who/JIgga What) and this album did not have any. Very boring album. Lyrics wise, I was also dissapointed. Lost ones?? HE/SHE/WE/ What was that all about?

^What about Kingdon Come with the rick James sample? I thought they flipped it well. I agree with you on the Dre beats though...
