PG's like Kidd maximize their production when they can pass the ball to someone who can finish an athletic move to the basket. That was Carter and Jefferson - who is it now?
How about better guys like Howard & Dirk?? Got Em!!

wow. another stupid ass trade...harris for kidd??? harris is sick and still VERY young....

Kidd is a way more developed and smarter player than Harris. Plus Harris is/was injured and he really doesn't make his teammates better. Dallas needs leadership in their locker room as well as a pure point guard. Plus they can re-sign Stackhouse after the Nets cut him to add depth back onto their bench. The trade isn't so bad. Cuban is not stupid. The man knows what he is doing. Its a win/win situation for both teams in my opinion.

But I'm not totally sure how much this will help them get to the finals with the Western Conference being so got damn deep this season. Only time will tell if this is a good trade or not.

If Kidd could "consistantly" hit that jumper then I'd say the Mavs got the better of the deal. We'll see what happens.

word is that jerry stackhouse will be bought out in new jersey and will resign with dallas once that happends. this might be one of those under the table deals that made the whole thing work.

With the New Jersey Nets poised to complete a blockbuster deal to send Jason Kidd back to Dallas on Wednesday night, Mavericks reserve forward Devean George has unexpectedly exercised his right to block the trade, according to NBA front-office sources. Sources close to the situation told ESPN.com that the teams verbally agreed to the deal earlier Wednesday and were preparing to submit the trade for league approval when George informed the Mavericks that he wouldn't consent to being included in the deal, which is his right based on a rare provision in his one-year contract.

this wont stop the trade only delay it. they will probably throw a fat sack of money on his lap and tell him to shove it.

and portland fan kid, devin harris is weak as fuck. there is like 3-4 pg's in the draft that are just as good as Harris if not better.
