I was helping my cousin look for cars today, and we saw this red 1999 pontiac sunfire gt for 3k. I thought it was a good deal, but my cousin said that red cars get pulled over more than any other cars. Do people still believe this? anybody got proof that this actually happens?

i think thats bullshit...if your car is purple you're prolly more likely to get pulled over...but on some real shit i dont think its really the color of the car, its the type of car...

For 2 years I drove a bright red '68 Pontiac, sounded like it had no mufflers, beat in the trunk, and never once was pulled over.

I was asked how many times I have been pulled over though, thinking it was a lot. Red is a lot more noticeable.

I was told red cars get pulled over a lot because they are considered "fast." I think the whole Ferrari thing hyped it up. Also, I was told red cars are unsafe to drive during storms because lightning is attracted to the color Red. LOL

I've been driving a Red Dodge Magnum for 2 years and have never been pulled over once and that car is big as shit and cops can see it coming for miles and I always speed like crazy, don't know, maybe I just have good luck....

insurance prices will go up slightly dependin on the color, red is the highest because it is the most conspicuous while dark green is lowest when paying insurance. insurance companies gotta do their business so there gonna find tendencies n shit... whether they get pull over more often i dont know but that is theory behind insurance companies..
