I'm 25 years old, born in 1983. So that means...1990 I'm 7.

I grew up on 2 Live Crew, Too Short, NWA. That's the top three that I listened to.

2 Live Crew, as far as ''south'' goes, were and always will be the 'Godfathers', so to speak, when it comes to opening doors and providing a platform for others to follow and use. And really, that goes for all rappers, from anywhere.

God bless the 2 Live Crew.

When Outkast came out, they made hits...true. But when they made hits, they didnt turn the spotlight towards the south. It was still all about the west coast. Plus, when Outkast drop their hits, they dropped West Coast sounding hits. It was Master P that took the spotlight away from the west coast...not Outkast, not The Geto Boyz, not Goodie Mobb, etc.

its too many muhfukkas 2 quote so ill just thow out general responses:

1. no im NOT gettin skoo'd

2. u niggas is cornballs(make this #1)

3. i dont give a fuck if Outkast won an award or became on a national level or not, Master P is the nigga that blew the Souf the fuck up. Period. u dudes is stuck in mainstream mode. Niggas in tha hood(mostly Souf and West Coast) started fuckin wit P in like 93' 94'. He was spittin that authentic dope boy shit and niggas(especially back in them days) was uckin wit it tuff. And when he blew wit his shit, it was a wrap! Tha world wasnt singin "Playa's Ball"(dope song tho) they was screamin "Ugghh Na Na Na" if yall do remember.

4. This aint about 2 Live Crew. Trust i know my history and DO know how much they put shit down for not just the souf and hip hop, but music in general. they tha ones that made tha fcc thow them p.a stickers on albums.

5. shout out 2 Devin tha Dude. 4 got to thow him on my list

6. Tech 9ine sucks...yup i did.
